This is a great way to see the main sites of Florence when you're tired of walking and need some relax time. My favorite part of the route was the drive up to Fiesole and Michelangelo Piazza. Such amazing views of Florence! I highly recommend to anyone visiting Florence.
We really loved the hop-on-hop-off tours. We booked them in Florence, Rome, and Istanbul....they are really the best way to familiarize yourself with these cities. The one in Florence we particularly enjoyed due to the variety of routes they offered. One took us to a beautiful little town situated above Florence called Fiorentino, giving us a nice quiet break from the more hectic city below. I really recommend this tour.
Definitely recommend doing the hop-on hop-off tour the first full day in any city you travel to. This allows you to learn a lot about the important places to hit in detail later. With 3 bus lines you can utilize that come around every 15 minutes, it is a great way to start your visit.
Highly recommend the hop on hop off bus as easy to use. You could catch it every 15 minutes.
The Hop on Hop off tours are the best way to get acquainted with the city. Book it early in your stay and get the lay of the land. It pays off and you learn so much about the city.
Florence was beautiful and a tour like this is a great way to see a little bit of everything and go back to the places you want to see more of.
The hop on-off tour buses are a great way to see most of Florence when you don't have much time. They're also great for transportation with the multiple lines if you have plenty of time in the city. I highly recommend this tour/option.
we did both hop on hop off and regular tours and on most occasions felt the hop on off was the much better way to go. we would ride one complete round then decide what we wanted to see more of and would get off there...great idea
