This was our second E-bike vacation tour and it was exceptional. Our guide a young Florence native was very knowledgeable and gave us superb views of Florence. My wife and I are both in our 60's and the bikes were so easy to maneuver. We are so glad we had this experience and would suggest if your looking for something a little different to do give it a try.
The best of all of our tours during our 12 days in Italy, this is not to be missed! Gabriele was fantastic. He adjusted each of the bikes, and showed us how to use them. The electric bikes take a bit a getting used to, but are amazing and take all the work out of going up hills. We started at the bike shop in old-town Florence and made our way up to an olive farm in the hills near Friesole called Fattoria di Maiano. Gabriele was careful to take routes away from cars where possible and keep tabs on us. He also explained interesting sites and landmarks along the way. Don't try to be macho, wear a helmet, trust me! From there, we biked over to Piazza Michelangelo for some incredible views of Florence, and a bit further up to the Benedictine Monastery of San Miniato al Monte, where we took in the amazing church and heard the Gregorian chants for Vespers. The monks opened the shop afterwards and we bought some snacks. Gabriele was funny and entertaining, but creative and persistent with inevitable equipment issues, and took us to a local wine bar afterwards.
Gabrielle could not have been a better or more concerned guide. The trip was great, a nice deviation from a traditional walking tour.
What a way to see Firenze! Flying through the crowded streets on our way up to the hills was so fun... Gabriella was a great guide with lots of knowledge! The view from Fiesole was amazing and we covered around 18 miles without even breaking sweat! Would definitely book again... Grazie :
Fun, fun, fun...ok, my derrière hurt, but that's because I have t been on a bike for awhile. I would def recommend this for anyone up for an adventure.
This was the highlight of our trip! Thank you so much to Gabriele, our tour guide, who made this such a memorable experience for my daughter and I. Gabriele's instructions were so clear and his passion and knowledge of the area was great! The cycle up to Friesole was spectacular as we cycled out of the city, passed through the residential areas and then finally ended up at the city farm with absolutely stunning views! The cycle back was fantastic too, and the view of Firenze from Michaelangelo Square was superb! We cannot thank Gabriele and Alessia enough for making this such a great experience! Debbie and Mhairi

We had a fantastic day with Gabriel touring around Florence. We particularly loved riding up in the hills. Bikes are super easy to operate and Gabriel is a delightful guide.
What a fantastic experience! Gabriel is a terrific guide --- from start to finish, my daughter and I enjoyed the opportunity to ride through Florence, visiting areas outside what the normal tourist experience would be. Thank you, Gabriel! Well done!
We like to go on bike tours in all the cities we visit, and this one was just as remarkable. Gabrielle was very knowledgable of the cities history and culture. He took us through the old city as well as the new to the olive farm. I was hesitant about the electric bike, but was really comfortable by the time we needed to get up a steep hill. I would highly recommend this tour as riding through the streets of an ancient city is a very memorable experience.
My husband and I booked this tour during our honeymoon in Italy, and I'm willing to say this was the highlight of our trip! The bikes were so easy to ride, and they're perfect for sightseeing. We saw parts of Florence that we never would've seen on our own, including an olive farm! There are no words to describe the gorgeous landscape when you get out of the busy city... Our guide also brought us to the best Panini shop we visited while in Florence, which was a great lunch after hours of riding! We have zero complaints, only advice to definitely take this tour, you won't regret it!
This is a wonderful way to easily see beautiful landscape views of Florence and the surrounding country side. This tour is for you if you want to see the amazing scenery of Florence. If you want a tour that provides a lot of historical detail about the city, this is not the tour for you. While our guide did give us some information about the sites we passed or stopped at, the nature of the tour does not allow for the guides to go into great detail. Also this tour is not for you if you don't have a lot of experience riding a bike. Some parts of the tour are on busy roads with other vehicles so you want to be comfortable with your bike.
Also, the farm we visited was an olive farm. It would have been nice to be able to taste some of the olive oil as part of the tour, but we didn't get to.
Overall, the tour was really nice and made biking up those tall hills very easy with the motorized bikes. Gabriel was a great tour guide and gave good recommendations for places to eat.
It was a drizzly day and while waiting to meet our guide we were secretly hoping it would get canceled. But when Alessi got us out on the bikes, it was love at first pedal, as it made going up the hills of Florence a breeze . She was so nice and gave us tons of information along the way. This truly became one of our favorite activities while in Italy. We would not hesitate to do this again or suggest it to others. Electric bike was nicer than a Vespa tour in that it was slow enough to enjoy the sights and quiet so we could hear our host, yet effortless pedaling. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Thanks again Alessi!
This was one of the best tours I have ever done. Totally enjoyed our morning. The bikes are in great condition and so easy and fun to operate. Alessi was so helpful, sharing info about Florence and the places we visited. We have visited Florence before but we saw so much more and learnt so much more taking the bikes. This would be a great tour to do first day into Florence.
Great tour, really enjoyed biking outside Florence to the Farm. The electric bikes were especially fun!
A must do, this tour was the highlight of our honeymoon trip to Italy! Alyssia was a terrific guide - knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to share her knowledge of her hometown. The electric bikes made cruising the streets and hills of Florence a breeze. Seeing the historic town, historical highlights, and Tuscan countryside roads was so much fun, lots of good opportunities for pictures and videos. We could have used a bit more time at the Farm we visited, but other than that a perfect tour. Alyssia's recommendation of the local trattatoria across the street from her shop for lunch was terrific as well, one of our favorite meals in Florence!
I wish I could rate this tour and our tour guide Alicia spelling? a 6 5 is not high enough!! She was so kind and informative and made sure we understood the easy electric bikes thoroughly before we left. These bikes made the ride through the Tuscan hills so easy! Anyone can do this trip and should. Seeing the hills, mansions, and hilltop farms made us understand why so many people love Tuscany. We enjoyed seeing the city from the Michelangelo plaza and the Wine Bar was wonderful!! Alicia keeps the tour small to give personalized attention and we really appreciated that - it was like a private tour! We would do this tour again in a heartbeat! Thanks for a wonderful time.
This was an excellent tour and opportunity to see the lovely Tuscan countryside when in Florence. We booked this on our first day in Florence, and it afforded us a great opportunity to orient ourselves to the city and escape the oppressive crowds of tourists in the downtown core. We met in front of a coffee shop near the Piazza della Signoria and Alyssia led us the block or two to their bike office. It took only a couple of minutes to get the hang of them in their quiet street as we had never tried them before. Although it was a scorching hot day, the e-bikes allowed us to sail in the breeze and up into the hills of Fiesole with minimal effort. You wont believe how easily you ascend relatively steep terrain! In addition to visiting the organic olive oil farm Fiesole which, unluckily for us was closed, due to it being a Sunday, we whipped over to the opposite heights and views from Piazzale Michelangelo, as well as the monastery: San Miniato al Monte. There we heard the hauntingly beautiful Gregorian chant tones emanating from the church which had begun evening vespers. There is a little shop there which sells goods made by the monks. We were able to take some astounding pictures throughout due to our birds eye views. We had ample opportunities to take breaks, drinks, and pictures. To cap it off, we were given wine and snacks at the foot of Ponte Vecchio. Alyssia was a lovely, friendly tour guide and we really appreciated the way she shared information about her life in Italy. We wish her and her partner much success in their business.
What a wonderful way to get out of the city center and see Florence from the surrounding hills! Fantastic experience that our family loved. A highlight of our vacation!
My husband and I had a great morning touring all over Florence. Our guide took us to less touristy areas so we could see the true beauty of the city. The electric bikes made the journey very easy and enjoyable.
This was a great tour. The ride was very scenic and our tour guide was knowledgable and personable.
Our guide, Alicia, and her partner Gabriel were very well-organized, helpful, and delightful! We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this personalized tour!!!!
This was one of the top highlights of our family trip to Italy. Our guide, Gabriele, one of the co-owners of the business, was fantastic. He was very engaging and friendly and we saw so many beautiful sites in the hills overlooking Florence. Riding the electric bikes is so much fun particularly in the heat of the summer. I can't recommend this tour enough....book it...it's fantastic!!
