Great tour! Wish we had more time up on the hill and to enter the basilica.

Guides at the Uffizi and Academia galleries were extremely knowledgeable. Interesting tour and a good way to get a broad view of the city.

Top marks for the guide's knowledge and enthusiasm although she did tend to overwhelm us with too much detail. The walking tour was a little disappointing - no visit to the interior of the cathedral although this was inferred in Viator's description and moving between sites was done at an incredible pace leaving elderly members of the group struggling to keep up! The Galleria Dell Academia section was inspiring and my wife and I came away surprisingly impressed by the David statue. Good introduction to Florence especially when time is limited.

Tour guide was very informative in the city. Wish we could of stayed longer in the country side, just drove through the town and would have liked to get of the bus and walk around. Definitely worth doing.

This tour was very informative and enjoyable. We signed up for the tour of both museums, with lunch in the middle. The food was awesome and the tour guide was charming. We were they only people to opt for the lunch. The others missed out.

This tour had a great bus, guide and views! This tour is worth taking, although, if you have a car, save your money.

The all day tour is a whirlwind, but it does give a good overview of architecture and gets you into Academia and Uffizi without waiting. Our lunch was surprisingly good. Our guide was very jolly. Our bus broke down briefly, but overall I would say it was a very well organized trip. We did the tour our first day and were well prepared to explore on our own the following days.

It was unclear in the tour details that by booking a Monday tour, we would not be seeing two major museums due to Monday closures. We could have booked for an alternate day.
Reviewed by: Pamela P, Canada, August 2006 Note from Viator: As our website states, for reasons outside of our control there are the following restrictions. 1) The cathedral cannot be visited on Sundays and National holidays. 2)The Galleria dell Accademia is closed on Monday. This is replaced with a visit to the Bargello Museum or the Medici Chapels. 3) The Galleria degli Uffizi is closed on Monday and will be replaced with a visit to the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio.
Tour was not in-depth. The Uffizi Museum was great. I was on a tight schedule with a train trip back to Munich.

Morning tour was much too slow and we did not end up with enough time at the Academia. Afternoon was great and we had an excellent guide for the Uffizi!

Absolutely horrible and unreliable explanations of a meeting point. We didn't miss the first part of the tour due to pure luck. Try to imagine looking for a corner of two piazzas, and you'll know what I'm talking about. The tour was nice. For some reason, bus driver chose to stop half a mile from the view point, which practically didn't leave any time for picture taking, and guide had to cut his explanations short in order to return to the bus on time.
