I took the half-day morning tour, which was part bus and part walking. The tour gave us an overview and an idea of things to return to on our own. We had a great guide; she was very upbeat.

We really appreciated splitting the tour into 2 smaller groups. Our tour guide was superb! He was the best guide we had for the many tours we took in Italy.

This is well worth doing. It gave a good overview of the history of Florence and of the town in general. The gallery tours were excellent, and we didn't have to queue for ages to get in. Our guides were very informative and interesting.

It would have been nice to have been warned about the number of stairs involved in the tour, or at least the guide should have checked if anyone needed to use the elevator. Also, we didn't know that we would end the tour at the gallery, only to have to find our own way back. We were just dumped off and told "good luck."

We did the afternoon tour and had a fantastic tour guide! The tour starts with a beautiful bus ride, then heads down to the center of the city and you start to walk. Wear comfy shoes! Our guide definitely knew his subject, and was passionate about sharing it. He provided relevant and in-depth information about the city, and, once we entered the gallery, was excellent in his coverage of the Renaissance. Very well worth it and a great way to start our stay in Florence.

Both tour guides AM and PM were prompt, professional, and very articulate. They did an excellent job sharing information, history, and highlights of our tour, and both guides were extremely knowledgeable about art history which made our gallery trips fantastic and very worthwhile. The lunch break was great too!

My husband and I only had one day in Florence. We took the full day tour with lunch. It was amazing. We pretty much covered everything: Il Duomo, the Baptistery, the Accademia, the Uffizi, and Santa Croce, as well as a bus tour through Fiesole. Lunch was great because we met so many wonderful people. I would definitely recommend this tour.

The morning and afternoon tours were outstanding. The buses were new and clean. The morning and afternoon tour had different guides. Both were superb. The real treat was the visit to the Galleria dell Accademia in the morning and to the Uffizi in the afternoon. The guides really showed their love of their city as they described the art with knowledge and passion. It was much more than just a museum tour. We were escorted to lunch between the morning and afternoon tours. Lunch was exceptional.

Our tour guide was excellent, and her knowledge of Florance was remarkable. And in addition to making the tour interesting, she made it fun.

The best thing about the tour was the guide. He was a passionate Florentine who was informative and funny. We travelled with children, so what a relief it was to jump the long queues!

We had an excellent tour guide who provided a great overview and ready access to the Uffizi Gallery. Because of the time limitations of the tour, I recommend allowing additional time for more in-depth touring of points of interest, particularly the Gallery.
