What You Can Expect
Your tour will begin in central Florence, where you’ll join up with your guide. Avoid the long wait time at the Accademia Gallery and head straight inside with your direct access ticket. Tour around the museum, stopping at Michelangelo’s David, a 17-foot masterpiece created when the artist was only in his twenties.
Afterward, follow your guide through the historic streets and monuments of Florence. Soak up views of the Arno River as you cross the Ponte Vecchio bridge, and stroll through the bustling Piazza della Signoria, where the impressive Palazzo Vecchio sits. Then travel to the Duomo, the architectural gem of Florence. Skip the line and tour the incredible structure, learning about the cathedral’s history and design from your guide as you go.
Enjoy two hours of free time to purchase lunch before beginning your afternoon tour.
Skip the Line: Uffizi Gallery Walking Tour:
Join up with your guide in front of the Uffizi Gallery and skip the long lines at the main entrance. Inside, hear the stories of the artists and patrons behind the museum’s expansive collection.
Admire Renaissance masterpieces as you walk, passing da Vinci’s Annunciation, Michelangelo’s Doni Tondo and the stunning Botticelli room, featuring the artist’s Birth of Venus and Primavera paintings. Afterward, take a stroll on the rooftop terrace to admire views of the city stretched out below. Your tour will conclude inside the museum, where you can continue to explore independently, if you wish.
Very informative walking tour, and such a bonus with the skip the line tickets - worth their weight in gold! In the morning Mia took us around the main sights and this was a great way to orientate ourselves. She was very knowledgeable and gave us some great local tips. Highlight of the morning was seeing Michelangelo's David in Accademia. After our own time for lunch we then met Charles outside the Uffizi for another tour. This was a really great guided tour and he really picked out the best pieces in the museum, nicely finished off with a glass of Prosecco not included in the tour!! on the roof terrace of Uffizi. The knowledge and the passion for art of both guides was truly amazing, and this tour is highly recommended.
I loved this tour! Our guide Frederica was amazing. Patricia was also very good and knowledgeable. I would definitely book again.
The tour was great! Lots of extra information about the Duomo, Academia, and the Uffizi gallery we wouldn and #39;t have gotten on our own! Guides were knowledgeable and easy to understand. Skip the line saved us time - definitely recommend for anyone trying to get in Florence and #39;s highlights in one day.
We so enjoyed this day. All logistics were well organized. We learned so much from our guide Paul and he made it a lot of fun. Very well done.
We had two different guides one for the walking tour in the morning and one for the Uffizi both were very good, had passion about their city and the history behind the buildings and the art. We enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to others. A great way to learn about Florence which we would have missed doing it on,our own.
Both the morning and afternoon tours were excellent. Everything that was promised was present. The tour guides were very well informed and provided good insight into the sights and attractions in Florence.
I recommend that you do the Uffizi tour with a guide from this organization and if you are luck you will get Angello. He was OUTSTANDING!!
A lot of walking, but well worth it. I loved the paintings, frescos, and sculptures. All in all, amazing day.
Our walking tour of Florence was in two parts. Fredrica our Uffizi guide showed us some beautiful paintings. It was so much better than wandering on our own.
Paul was our morning tour guide and his enthusiasm, knowledge and sense of humour guaranteed an outstanding tour. One not to be missed!!
This tour allowed us to know the best in Florence. We had two incredible tour guides very smart, funny and passionate for their work: Emily an Angello. This city it's a jewelry in Itself.
