This tour was very informative; we thought there would be more walking than standing around in the best of Florence AM tour but we still really enjoyed it. The afternoon tour of the efizzi gallery was better and moved along at a good pace. Our guide Michael was excellent. Wi fi sets were great

Enthusiastic and informative, but hard to do in a very busy gallery.

We had a small group, but with the crowds, the communication devices were still welcome. Our guide was delightful and engaging. This lady and my daughter, the art history student, taught me so much about the beautiful paintings, architecture, and sculpture in this picturesque city.

The tour was great. Could have been a little longer to get all the wonderful sights in but very informative.

Good overview of the city. The walking tour was a bit slow, but we still saw a good portion of the city and the highlights. Enjoyed learning the history of the city and it's buildings and artists. The Uffizi tour was very informative and Paulo gave us great insights into the art history.

If you have a Florence guide book to explain the various attractions, it probably wouldn't be necessary to do the Florence Walking Tour because the city is intimate and easily navigated. The tours of the Accademia and the Uffizi on the other hand are a must do with the knowledgeable Avitor guides.

A great introduction to Florence! All the highlights in one tour...in one day. Fall weather made the walking tour really fabulous.

The tour guides, Patriccia and Paul, were very good. They are keepers. Enjoyed visiting the Uffizi and L'Accademia. Would recommend tour to others.

I highly recommend it, probably the only tour that you will need in Florence. It covers all the important tour spots. Constance, the tour guide was excellent but unfortunately put us in another group in the afternoon.

This is really two tours in one: The Best of Florence Walking Tour (including the Accademia Gallery) followed by the Uffizi Gallery Tour. Both tours are really great! However, this is a LOT of walking to do in one day, so be prepared to be exhausted by the end of the day!
Best of Florence Walking Tour (including the Accademia Gallery): This was an awesome tour! Our guide, Mary Grace, was great! Intelligent, knowledgeable and highly entertaining! She did a great job introducing us to the wonders of Florence leading up to the amazing view of David at the Accademia. We would rate this a 5 out of 5.
Uffizi Gallery Tour: This was a really good tour. We cannot imagine how one could really appreciate all of the wonders that are in this Gallery on your own in a full day (much less just a few hours). Our guide, Helma (sp?), was very informative about the styles of the paintings and the history of the art (and the artists) that we were seeing. We would rate this tour a 4 out of 5.

Both our morning and afternoon guides were very good. They both were Art majors and added good information to our tour. I would have liked to have more guided time for both tours.

We were glad we did this tour because we got to see a lot of the 'best of Florence.' However we only got an hour break in between the day and afternoon tour to: 1. eat, 2. explore the Accademia and 3. get to the meeting point of the second location. We had to wait in line which wasn't a big deal because time flew by and our tour guides gave us a lot of information, but we were tired by the end of the tour. No complaints about the actual tour company and tour guides - they were great.
