Our guide Andrea was great! He had grown up in Florence and shared local history. Tuscan hills were beautiful. Rolling hills, grape vines, and olive trees. Drove to some great vista shots and have a nice photo of a panoramic view of Florence, and a great dinner too!
Loved the Vespa tour and fabulous lunch. I prepared in Australia my scooter skills and was glad that I did, as the roads and terrain was varied and challenging in spots, but that just added to the exhilarating experience. Others were first time on a scooter and everyone did well, no mishaps.
This tour was the highlight of our trip, what an experience!! We saw places we would have never seen if it wasn't for the tour, our guide Angelo was fantastic and deserves a medal as he has the patience of a Saint!
The lunch was another total treat, fantastic food and wine I highly recommend this tour!,
This outting made being in Italy very real! It was the perfect way to see a bit of Florence and then cruise through the beautiful Tuscany countryside. Our guide was delightful, extremely knowledgable and bilingual. Lunch was an authentic sampling of the local food. This is an experience you will talk about for years.
This tour is a MUST!!! Stephano with Walkabout tours is the best. He made everyone feel like a personal friend. He was very informative and passionate about his job. We stopped at various beautiful breathtaking locations in Florence and the Tuscan Hills. The stop at the monastery overlooking Florence was beautiful. Great picture stop!! Stephano explained in detail something about the area in each stop. The day was topped off with a delicious meal with wine and chocolate. The vespa's were in great condition and so much fun! It was a day that we will never forget. Thank you so much Stephano!!
This tour is a hoot. The tour operator runs both vespa and mini fiat tours. We were a group of 10 with four bikes and one car. You go winding through the hills and parks outside Florence. The end of the tour is in the area across the river from the main part of Florence at a lovely Trattoria. But the best part of the tour is Angel. He is a Spaniard, married to an Italian, who owned a restaurant in Spain, and ran restaurants in London. This means he knows the wine and olive oil industry well -- and understands what it means to truly host a guest. Angel is outgoing and vibrant and is a great introduction to how to live La Dulce Vida
I would strongly recommend this 4 hour tour, it was amazing and enjoyed every second. Our tour guide Andrea was absolutely fantastic!!
What a kick this was. It took some convincing for my 67 year old wife to hop on the back of a Vespa with me but I am here to tell you that she wore an ear to ear smile the entire time. I highly recommend this tour to you regardless of age. The staff here is great as well. They finish the tour with lunch at Zeb Zuppaebollito which is absolutely out of this world.
Job well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Super fun and a chance to get a taste of Tuscany in a few hours.
This was absolutely brilliant and a lot of fun. Our tour guide and lead driver was very lovely and knowledgable about the local area. I was really pleased as we spent a good deal of time driving on the Vespas and enjoying the weather. I would point out that there are not many stops and you do have to enjoy the scenery while driving. For me, this was about driving a Vespa and taking in the Tuscan landscapes. If you are looking for an in depth tour of the area, this one is probably not for you.
We stopped at a beautiful church which sat on a hill overlooking Florence, the views were by far the best I'd seen on my trip and the meal afterwards was delicious. I'd opted for the vegetarian option, which I really enjoyed. I think this is a great tour to do to escape the centre of town and really take in Tuscany.
This was an amazing tour and our tour guide was fantastic. It was such fun and the scenery was terrific. Even if you haven't ridden a vespa before it was easy to do and quite enjoyable. The meal at the end of the tour was delicious. We had a great time.
Great tour with Andreas. Very knowledgable. Visited amazing places with gorgeous scenery. Highly recommend
Myself and 10 friends were able to experience this fantastic tour on 30 July. 10 of us on scooters and 1 in the Fiat with Julian. We had such a fabulous time. It had been a dream of mine to ride a red Vespa in Italy and it was such fun. I'm still smiling at the memory. Julian was great fun and full of knowledge about the area. We finished off with wine, beer and great food at a trendy bar in Florence. If you get the opportunity experience it for yourself.
So much fun! I rode around with a big smile all day. Stephano was wonderful, scenery outstanding, and great lunch afterwards. A must do!
This was such an amazing day! The tour guide, Angel, was entertaining, friendly, knowledgeable and made this a very special experience. He gave private Vespa lessons to those of us who were the passenger out of the couples and also allowed my partner and I to drive in his Fiat 500 for part of the trip as well. Highly enjoyable and highly recommended!
