We had a fun, exhilarating and interesting bike tour. The tour guide was organized, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Good varied experience incorporating both country and city. Our lunch was tasty in shady
relaxed surroundings. A very enjoyable memorable bike tour. Thanks Sandra, hope to see you next year.
This tour is a great combination to explore Tuscany and it's not hard at all!. We cycled in the morning outside the city. We stopped in beautiful places to take pictures and to hear the explanations from our guide. Lunch was in a gorgeous villa and it was delicious! Then we got on our bikes again to explore the city center! We stopped in different places to hear the explanations from our guide, to take lots of pictures and to have a delicious gelato :) This tour is truly amazing! Highly recommended!
I really enjoyed this tour, it was a great experience! We started cycling on the Tuscan countryside with breathtaking views. We had a really nice lunch at a very authentic rural place, and then cycled back to Florence and did the city tour. We finished with a gelato, which was probably the best one I had in Florence. Definitely recommend it!
This was a wonderful tour through the countryside and city of Florence. What a unique way to see the sights. Loved our guide Sandra! Although the description of the tour mentioned no hills there are some uphill rides, so be prepared. Not a problem to walk the bike when a little rest was needed.
PLEASE see my response about the tour of St. Mark's Basilica and Venice...
Loved our tour guide and the tour places...very difficult finding the actual bike shop in Florence. Booking Confirmation didn't contain any specifics on locating the bike shop!
Overall the tour was good. The tour guide, Stefano, was excellent, as was the lunch. We had expected to go farther into the countryside, and see more of rural Tuscany up close. More than half the time was alloted to sightseeing in Florence which we had done previously. Perhaps the description of the tour could be more specific with regard to this.
