You meet at the Trinita Piazza by the statue and then walk to the cooking school which takes about 15 minutes. The class was a promised, we learned to make pasta and made three pasta-based dishes. They have everything laid out for us so we could concentrate on techniques and cooking. It was very interactive and fun. Once you have everything made, you go downstairs to a very quaint wine cellar and a very large table. The chefs finish the cooking and bring your group your pasta dishes one at a time. The wine and water are included. Our dishes were linguine with tomato/basil, potato stuffed ravioli and pasta with a mushroom sauce. All vegetarian. They seemed to be able to accommodate special dietary restrictions as well. The lunch was more than we could eat and delicious. The chef served an amazing panna cotta for dessert that was crazy good. When the class is over, you just leave. They dont walk you back to the Trinita, so pay attention to where you are going during your walk over.
This was a wonderful experience, if not a little crowded. We had a full 24 people. The main teacher, Alex, was full of pep, humorous, and knowledgable. The 3 pastas we cooked were delicious and definitely the freshest we had on our 10-day trip. I would definitely do this again if/when I go back to Florence. One change would be to do some small ricotta ravioli instead of the large potato but they were delicious!!

While on our honeymoon, my husband and I decided we had to take some sort of cooking class, we were debating between pizza/gelato or this pasta class. We were so happy we picked this! The chefs were pretty awesome and entertaining. We learned how to make 2 difference kinds of pasta dough, plus 3 pasta dishes, and panna cotta. After cooking, we were all taking to a cellar, and got to feast on all of the dishes we had made. It was such an awesome experience! We were given all of the recipes, and can't wait to try to make them at home. :
Amazing cooking class for our rainy day!! Learned a ton in a fabulous atmosphere with great people. The wine cellar for the meal was the icing on the cake!
Wonderful experience! The chefs were charming and informative, I learned some new techniques. The food was so delicious and it was nice to meet new people with similar interests. I would definitely refer a friend and do it again.
Learned to cook 3 different pastas and sauces and panna cotta for a dessert! What we really enjoyed was sampling the food we just made with fellow students over some wines in the cellar downstairs. Highly recommend if you are looking to do something other than usual sightseeing.
This class was such a blast! We made 3 types of pasts, sauces and pana cotta. Our instructor, Alessandro, was so entertaining, keeping us all laughing while at the same time teaching us his skills. After we prepared the food, the chefs served us the delicious food we had made. They sent us home with the recipes...Can't wait to try making these pastas at home! Definitely recommend this class.
So fun! Chef was so nice and great! Made 3 different pastas and sauces, along with dessert! After we prepared the pastas, we went into the wine cellar and ate the delicious pastas with delicious wine! I would highly recommend this class!
Highlight of our trip to Italy! The chefs were lively and very welcoming. Learned a lot! The recipes were incredible! Enjoyed the smaller group size. Highly recommend this class!
It was a lot of fun! The food turned out great, the cooks were fabulous, and it was a nice change from our normal tours!
My husband and I really enjoyed our pasta making experience and Alessandro was really good at coaching us. After the course we cooked everything and enjoyed the food we had done with a glass of good wine. It was wonderful and relaxing. We suggest this activity to all who like to cook and enjoy good food. We now have the 3 recipes to cook this at home.
Absolutely amazing! Our chef was funny and witty and very patient with everyone. The food was the most flavorful in Florence. If in Florence ever again I would take this course. The one down side is that viator says the group max is 12, however the cooking venue holds 20. 4 groups of 5, 3 chefs.
So much fun! And the food was excellent. You won't leave an expert in pasta and the recipes will need to be converted to English units. My kids loved it and we would do it again.
What a great class! Yes, just like everyone else mentioned it was overbooked but it was still great. Although the chef was busy managing 3 different dishes and 11 "cooks", he still took the time to stop and answer questions with undivided attention. The food was great and well worth the value.
This class was my favorite of the cooking classes I booked because I'm a pastaholic. The class was nothing but fun, and I learned a few good tips as well. The outcome of our labor was over-the-top fantastic! I don't know if it was because I was in Italy, or in this class, but that was some of the best pasta I ever ate!
So much fun, great chefs so knowledgable and helpful! They made it a fun experience and amazing food and wine! Best thing we did in Florence!

My fiancé and I had a blast spicing up our culinary skills during this class! The instructors were hilarious, and the food was amazing!
It was great fun. We worked with great people and the food was so delicious. The only disappointing thing was we didn't get the recipes which we thought was part of the experience.

This was the best experience we had in Florence! We made 3 different types of pasta and sauces which we enjoyed eating afterward. Francesco, the chef, is absolutely wonderful and not only teaches you how to make amazing Italian dishes but makes it fun also. We would definitely do this again!
Chef Alessandro is phenomenal!! We wish we could bring him home with us. We thoroughly enjoyed this class, and wish we would have booked a cooking class every day that we were here. The tour guide that walked us to our class was very kind and punctual. It was easy to find the meeting place, and the only drawback was that we had no "doggie bags". The three pastas were wonderful, the panna cotta was delightful, and the wine capped the meal perfectly. Definitely a MUST do!
This was better than we could have ever imagined! We had so much fun and came back with such an incredible knowledge! We made three pasta dishes and a light dessert. There is more food than you could ever eat. We don't have allergies but it was refreshing to see that they considered them. And, when you are done hanging out and cooking amazing food, you are led down to one of the coolest wine cellars I have been in to enjoy the food you cooked and some complimentary vino. Absolutely amazing! Thank y'all so very much! This was exactly the memory we were looking for in Florence!
This was one of my favorite things I did in Italy! The atmosphere was amazing, fun and lighthearted. The class taught us how to make 2 different types of pasta dough and 3 different kinds of pasta along with a sauce for each. The best part is you get to eat what you've made with a glass of wine. I can't wait to make pasta at home. Well worth the money!
