Loved Pisa we took the infamous cheesy photo holding up the leaning tower. We had fun doing it. Lucca was a great little town with lots of history and had many little restaurants to sit and people watch. The tour guide was very informative. I would recommend this day trip.
It was lovely. The bus ride was very comfortable and the guide was very friendly. Will recommend your company to others.
We were a larger group, perhaps 40, who made the trip from Florence to Pisa and Lucaa. In Lucca we had one of the best guides I've had, I believe her name was Claire, who took the time to lead us through all the monuments in the Miracle Plaza. I came away with an understanding that the monuments were more than just the leaning tower. She also led us through the beautiful cathedral. After lunch on our own, we went to Lucca, a beautiful walled city. Unfortunately the guide for my smaller group did not have strong English skills and would often lose concentration and be unable to give explanations outside of her script she also walked fast and I was constantly losing reception on the whisperer. Lucca is well worth visiting. Both of our local guides used audio whisperers which I prefer. The day was well worth the time and the money.
Loved this tour!!! Day went without a hitch. Tour guides were entertaining and informative. Thanks for a great time!
We had an absolutely excellent experience. Our guide, Valentina, was knowledgeable, fun, and very competent. The bus itself was pleasant, and everything from departure to arrival back in Florence went as expected and according to schedule. This is excellent value for the money, and our family considered it a day very well spent.
The trip was fantastic as it brings us to PISA and Lucca, but if you would want to explore the entire PISA, the trip may be too short for you to do everything, and you should pre book ur tickets to go up of the tower of PISA if you are planning to go up there....
Still a good day trip and I would recommend you to do it if you are in florence!
We did this tour with a little baby and found everyone very helpful. The half day in Pisa was enough time to see the monuments, get pics with the leaning tower and to have lunch. If you want to climb the the tower, you need to book online first. Lucca was a nice little gem. An enjoyable afternoon
The guides in both cities were well informed and provided a real insight into the two cities. The guide in Lucca, who was extremely good, walked round the city as if on her own which was a little concerning at times.
Overall, highly recommend!
The meeting place was very easy to find the booking agent was there early to make sure everything was in line for our departure on time. Our tour guide Irene was great
Excellent value for money. Great way to see both towns. Without out a guide you will miss out on a lot of history and knowledge which the guides have in abundance.
Pisa nearly wasn't on my itinerary but I am so glad we did this tour I just loved Pisa. We had a local very knowledgeable guide to show us around and inside the Cathedral which was the most spectacular I have seen and we had adequate time to spend in Pisa before going on to Lucca. Lucca was disappointing for me after Pisa and I would have been satisfied with a half day trip had I known. One big grip with the tour company is that you meet at the train station only to have to walk all the way back to Piazza Adua to catch the bus. There was ample room at Piazza Adua to check in. Not a big deal but when you are tourists doing so much walking it was annoying.
Absolutely fascinating from beginning to end.
The instructions on how to find the meeting point at the station need to be more explicit. The clock is not visible from most vantage points. While it is at the front of the station, it is actually the entrance/exit least used. Under the round or square clocks on the station concourse would be a much better location. We nearly missed the tour as a result, despite having been past the station several times (our hotel was nearby).
Although there was some confusion in getting the groups organized three different language groups and an amalgamation from a couple of different tour companies all went well. The coach drivers on all the tours deserve more recognition, the guide on the bus was fairly informative and the guide at Pisa was passionate and interesting
Very informative with good, knowledgeable and interested guides
We enjoyed our trip to Pisa and Lucca. We also took advantage of the lunch to buy. it was very good. We loved Lucca and would have loved to spend more time there. The one disadvantage of this trip was having to listen to 5 languages translated while on the bus to Pisa. If the group could have been more divided with the English speakers on one bus it might have caused less confussion.
A very interesting day and well paced. Local guides showed us around Pisa and Lucca and there was plenty to see. The tour was operated by Ciao Florence the only problem I had was that they actually departed 1/2 hour earlier than my ticket informed me, luckily I was there in plenty of time and didn't miss the bus. I don't know if I got the wrong information or whether the time was changed and I wasn't innformed, had I got to the departure point 15 mins before due departure, as instructed, I would have missed the tour.
Fantastic trip . Both local guides Roberto in Pisa and Judith in Lucca were informative and engaging. The only reason I didn't rate this as 5 stars was that there was not long enough to experience Lucca. An extra hours free time in Lucca would make all the difference and would still mean a return to Florence around 7pm. Don't miss Lucca.

Great time seeing both cities. Perfect amount of time for each.
if you are based in Florence, this is a good way to see Pisa and Lucca with reasonably competent guided tours of both locales. The guides also give a rolling narration of the sights along the motorway sometimes to a fault. Be prepared, however, to sit through repetition in at least four languages on the bus, and two languages on the walking tours.
