We had just arrived in Florence and this quick tour 2 1/2 hours was perfect to get a lay of the land in anticipation of our four-day visit. Our guide, Caterina, was extremely knowledgeable and charming. Since it was just the four of us, she quickly ascertained the group's interest history and food and tailored the highlights so even our 18-year-old was engaged. An added benefit -- we were staying in Oltrarno and our tour started and ended there. She took time to show us the neighborhood's highlights many -- especially for young adults, where to shop and best trattorias. As we discovered in the days to come, she was on the money every time!
The young lady who was our guide was extremely knowledgeable on a variety of subjects as we were a party of two we had the luxury of her undivided attention , as we only had the day there we would highly recommend the experience for anyone
Alex was our tour guide; she was fantastic. I thoroughly recommend this tour.
This was phenomenal. We had an amazing guide. She had wonderful English and took great time to explain as well as answer our questions. We had a 12 and 13 year old who also really enjoyed the tour. The walking pace was perfect and the time flew by!
Our tour guide clarista was INCREDIBLE so sweet and very knowledgeable .
Very nice tour! Our tour guide was very prompt and very informative. She covered most everything that was needed to be seen in out 3 hours walking tour.
A great way to get acquainted with Florence. The guide was an excellent guide.
Our guide Alessandra was fabulous and worth every penny. She has a delightful personality and is extremely knowledgeable in art history. She loves her city and it is very evident in her enthusiasm.
we had a wonderful time visisting Florence. Our tour guide Alessandra was amazing. Her english was great and she was very knowledgeable about everything in Florence. She let us decide what we wanted to see and answered any and all of our questions. The tour was just long enough to get a sense of Florence but left us enough time to explore on our own. We were very please and would reccommend this tour.
This tour was a wonderful experience. The guide was a passionate Florentine who truly gave us an appreciation for the culture and history of the city. If you can afford only one guided tour, make it this one.
Our guide was wonderful and set the perfect tone for our Florence adventure.
This tour was a great introduction to Florence. Not only did we learn our way around the city, we figured out how best to spend our limited time there. We also discovered some great restaurants tucked away down the side streets. Our guide, Laura, was great!
The tour was great and very informative. Gave us a good headstart as to what to do for the next few days. The guide besides showing the obvious sightseeing spots also gave us an advice where to dine, where to shop, etc. we were very happy overall
Started off slow, but then was very good and informative. Great way to get a feel for the city on our first day there.
This was a really great trip and worth the money. Our guide met us at the appointed time and asked us what we'd be interested in seeing. We opted for a general guide to help us find our way round for the rest of the trip. She was more than helpful in taking us places off the beaten track, and showing us museums and churches that were not as widely visited and therefore had less queuing, and were also free or inexpensive. We visited a couple of these places the following day. Our guide was very informative, definitely knew her stuff, and threw in some really interesting facts as well. This trip is a really worthwhile way to find your bearings and to understand the places to go and the times to go. It's also a good way to find out more about the places before you visit.
