Loved the trip, especially San Gimignano. Could have had a better day weather wise, but in spite of the rain loved it anyway. Tour guides were great, and booking ahead of time was the way to go. Thanks.

This was a first class day trip with plenty of time in both places. The guide in Siena was great. Her enthusiasm for the town was infectious and her ability to dodge the crowds very helpful. I thought that Duccio's Maesta one of the most stunning works of art I have ever seen and that was a highlight. Overall a great day out.

Siena is so beautiful. It is a welcome retreat from all the graffiti in Florence. It would have been better to spend more time in Siena, and a little less time in San Gimignano.

Call ahead to get the best directions for meeting the bus, it can be very confusing. There are many tour groups meeting in the same vicinity and you will spend a lot of time checking each bus to find the right group. Again, know who the Supplier is, Viator will not be the name you see on the signs, etc. The bus trip was great, a good time to meet people from all over the world with a relaxed venue to talk. The tour of Siena was outstanding, a local guide shares her knowledge of the history of Siena and some tidbits of life there now. She was well respected by locals and this allowed us to gain access to places very quickly. We did NOT participate in the group lunch, but rather found a small local place with fantastic food, just off the main square. Family run, with pride for serving great food. Our only regret, the time was TOO short to enjoy more of this quaint town. November weather is unpredictable, take an umbrella and hope for the best. San Gimignano, was beautiful as well, but unfortunately the rain was relentless and we didn't get to see as much as we would have liked. The bus tour guide provides some historical tidbits as well, which was much appreciated.

It would help if you would give better directions to the meeting place. We missed the tour on Wednesday by seconds because we couldn't find the check-in place. It definitely was NOT in front of the train station. A map would be helpful for those of us unfamiliar with Florence. We were luckily able to reschedule for Friday. The trip itself was outstanding!

Although the weather was not as kind as we had hoped we had everything from sun to torrential rain and even a hailstorm this was an excellent trip. The guide in Siena really knew her stuff and presented information with just the right amount of detail. Highly recommended!

We had a bit of trouble finding the meeting point it's down the corner from the McDonald's but once we did, everything went very smoothly. We learned a great deal about both Siena and San Gimignano on the bus ride and then enjoyed exploring the two cities. We felt it was just enough time in each city to get a feel for them. If you really want to spend hours exploring each city, it might be a good idea to do a different tour, but we thought it was perfect. The double-decker bus was very comfortable and provided excellent view of the surrounding countryside. I would highly recommend this trip.

This was a great day trip. I would highly recommend it. If you are planning to climb the tower during your lunch period, do so quickly because the tour begins as soon as you make your descent.

This was our only chance to see even a small part of Tuscany, and we loved it. We definitely want to return and spend more time in the area and concentrate on seeing all that we can in that specific area. Siena was one of my favorites of our entire trip, which began in Rome and ended in Venice following our 12-day cruise. What a beautiful, quaint and authentic place. The day-long tour was well organized the guide was great definitely worth taking if you only have a short time in Florence or Tuscany.

These 2 towns are jewels! I'm so glad we went on these tours. Even the drive through the countryside was delightful. I'd highly recommend this tour. I learned that if you want the best seats on the bus for the entire day, you just have to tell the tour office that you get carsick and they will not question or deny you.

This was one of the true highlights of our trip to Italy. The coach was comfortable and the guides where all great. Our only comment would be to spend more time in San Gimignano. 1 hour is not enough time to enjoy this great attraction. Our guide in Siena was fantastic and very entertaining. She gave us the experience of a lifetime and made the city and its history come to life. If you are in Tuscanny, don't miss this tour!

The bus was on time, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The timetable was rushed, of course, with barely two hours in each place, but it was a good introduction to the history and culture of both places--a taster for returning. The guide in Siena was particularly good, entertaining, disciplined and full of interesting stories. Our coach guide was very gifted in speaking so many languages so well.
