Got us to Siena and San Gimignano with no hassle. Public transport would have been difficult in terms of seeing both places in one day. Both towns are definitely worth seeing. Guides were very good, Irina in particular. Would have been prepared to skip the visit to the Contrada museum in exchange for more time in the cathedral. Generally the trip was very efficiently organised with frequent email reminders before we left the UK. The guides are to be commended for their patience in handling the group - herding sheep would be easier!!!
Great tour. Sienna and San Gimignano are not to be missed.
We really enjoyed the bus ride through Tuscany. Our tour guide
was knowledgeable and expained the history well.
A great tour to see two beautiful cities. Booked and paid for in Australia before leaving, found the pick up point easily from the instructions.
We were very pleased with the quality of the tour components, the bus, the tour guides and the information about the two towns we visited.
We had a great time on this trip. The guides were great and provided a great deal of information.
The trip was AAA PLUS - from the compfort on the bus to the sites as well as the tour guides. would highly recommend it
It was a fantastic and unforgettable day. Sienna is a stunning place and ejoyed the countryside. Fun tour guides . Highly recommend this day trip
Our trip to Siena and San Gimignano was a memorable day tour from Florence, that I would highly recommend. Both were stunningly beautiful places that we were able to explore at leisure without feeling too rushed. It was a long day (I think combining with Pisa may be too long a day), but one we will treasure for a long time. Our guide was excellent and extremely helpful.
Very friendly efficient and informative trip and a fantastic day out, great value all round.
Excellent tour. Guides were great. Could do without the stop at the wine shop.
Excellent trip with well informed affable guide. The lady guide in Sienna was particularly good taking us to a private museum in the Rhino sector of town and the lunch arranged was good value and very enjoyable. Sienna is awesome. Although very touristy and so well preserved it didn't look real, San Gimignano was nonetheless amazing despite a bit of rain.
Siena is a must see. Highlights are the Palio and the cathedral. The guide provided insight into the significance of the Palio to the Senese. Quite fascinating. The cathedral is stunning - words cannot do justice to it. On to San Gimignano which provides stunning views of Tuscany. Remember to bring an umbrella - we were caught in a thunder storm just before leaving San Gimignano.
Tour and guide outstanding, way beyond what we expected. We highly recommend Viator and will use again for our next trip.
If you are in Florence for a few days do not miss getting out of town to these beautiful towns in Tuscany. Our guide from Florence was knowledgable and very entertaining- multi lingual and could also cater for the Spanish speakers on the tour. In Sienna, our guide was a local who gave a fascinating coverage of how this town is divided into areas, rivalry between areas and between Florence and Sienna as well. Optional is a traditional Tuscan lunch at a restaurant ( in a cellar dating back to 700's!). Highly recommended for the extra 15 euros.Traditional Tuscan bean soup, hand made local pasta, cheese, salamis and plenty on vino!
