This was worth it to skip the lines. I bolted from the tour once inside because the Accademia is small and the tour was slightly boring. Ask at the tour entrance where your guide is and the person there will point the guide out. That part was a little confusing.

The tour was relatively short and the guide was impossible to hear if you couldn't stay within three feet of her. However, it was worth it to skip the lines and to see the famous art pieces. We just left the tour to do our own thing after a while.
