Great tour guide... very interesting. I had been to the Accademia and Uffizi Galleries before and never seen or heard the stories behind the artists like I did on this tour.

The Academia tour guide led us through a staged history of sculpture, so that when we finally met 'the David' we could truly appreciate the genius of Michelangelo. The tour guide at the Uffizi performed a minor miracle, as she steadily moved us through the rooms, with purpose and care to teach us the development of the Renaissance art. At the last moment, and not the fault of the tour, we were notified that the museum was to close at 530pm instead of the normal 650pm time. We were sad that we could not do a little wandering on our own, but the tour guide definitely was fabulous.

It was great to have knowledgeable guides through these important sites. Our guide at the Uffizi was particularly good, showing and teaching us about the important works, all in good humor.

The tour guide was not loud enough to hear and the group was overcrowded, which spoiled our experience.
