Our guide was wonderful, very informative and it was clear he was passionate about what he was talking about. It would have been better if he had a microphone and we had headsets like some of the tours as it was quite difficult to hear him at some points.

It's an excellent idea to book this in advance and avoid queuing in the heat. We got in quickly, but were left by our rather impatient guide while we were made to check in our bags. So we waited for the next guide, who was lovely and very knowledgeable. It was a very informative tour, and we're glad we did it, and also pleased that we ended up with the guide we had!

What an experience! We had a knowledgeable guide and saw so many interesting exhibits. This is not to be missed.

It's impossible not to enjoy the Uffizi Gallery, but we found it quite difficult to hear the guide, who was, if not inspirational, very very knowledgeable on his subject.

The gallery is absolutely fantastic, and a must for anyone visiting Florence. It seems that taking a guided tour is probably the easiest way to get in, and you will also learn a lot about the paintings that you are shown. The downside is that you won't have an opportunity to see everything. The main problem, however, is the actual organization of getting to the right place to actually register for the tour. We were directed from one door to another and back again. When we eventually found the girl who was dealing with our group, she seemed to be surrounded by hundreds of people all wanting to be dealt with immediately. As I said, once you got inside the museum, it was well worth the wait, but it must have been about an hour of waiting and standing in line before that happened. All in all, we would recommend it.

This tour was spoiled by the fact that there was a union strike, and the gallery closed early so we did not see the full thing.

Ufizzi is a "can't miss" experience. The guide was very good. Our only problem was that we thought we were looking for a Viator group and almost missed tour.

If you're not a huge art fan, definitely take the tour, otherwise the art may not have much meaning for you.

The tour guide was so interesting and made the tour! She was entertaining and made the experience one to remember!

It was a wonderful experience to see such famous paintings in real life, and to hear the history behind the paintings. The guide concentrated on only a few paintings and I would have preferred to browse a bit more.

The guided tour of the Uffizi is a must. We had a very enthusiastic guide. But our names were not on the expected clients list although booked in advance. It required a phone call to confirm we could participate!

It's a good idea to book in advance and save time queuing. We disliked our guide so much that we soon abandoned the group and did our own thing.

Seeing the statue of 'David' was the highlight of my trip. The tour was somewhat disorganized, with the tour guide arriving late and not being assertive. She was also difficult to hear at times.

No queue and a knowledgeable guide, great. But she could not be heard by most of us most of the time, soft voice and background noise. A headset and radio mic is really what is required, as used by many other guides we saw.

The tour guide did not wear a microphone, so it was very difficult to hear and understand the very detailed information he was giving. This, combined with the heat and crowd made for a slightly underwhelming tour. Given the price of the tour, I expected more.
