Great day, our cooks were great. Would highy recommend this class.
Great course. Highlight of our trip for our ladies.
This class was really wonderful. The instructors were great. They were very knowledgeable, good at teaching, patient, and funny. We walked away with recipes to everything we made plus a few extras and with a great experience. I have remade a few of the things we did in class and they turned out great. My wife is really excited to have a girls night where they all make fresh pasta together and drink a lot of wine. I'm just excited to continue to eat delicious food!
Thanks so much it was really wonderful! One of the highlights of our trip.
We just returned from the 9 Day Heart of Italy Tour. While in Florence my daughter and I took advantage of the Cooking Class. Chef Giovanni made this day one of our 3 favorite things we did on our entire vacation. From the market to the dining table we loved the entire experience and the people we shared the table with for our 5 hour adventure could not have been nicer. We have the recipes and are eager to try making our own dinner back home. Thank you for a very memorable Mother/Daughter experience!
What a great day we spent in this cooking class. From the trip to the market, the purchase of ingredients, food preparation, cooking, eating and drinking wine it was a great experience. My wife and I came away with a very good understanding of selection of ingredients for Italian cooking and the importance of "slow food" in getting the most out of your meals. The staff were outstanding, all with strong English language skills and willing to help and answer all questions. This is a great way to spend a day in Florence, and you will come away with great ideas, recipes, and having had an excellent meal.
Loved the class! Lots of fun. Only drawback was too crowded. 25 is too many. 20 would be more manageable.
What a great way to spend a day in Florence! I couldn't recommend this class more. I already have a friend who is booking her class for a fall trip to Italy. The walk to the market and the special tastings of extra virgin olive oils, balsamic vinegars and cheeses was fun and informative. The day only got better when the hands on cooking fun began. I was amazed at how easy it is to prepare such great food. From tiramisu to homemade pasta (ravioli and tagliatelle) to an amazing bolognese sauce, we ended our day with a feast created by our own hands. The food was absolutely amazing! If you are looking for something a little different to do while in Florence, this is definitely a great choice. - Helen D., Maple Grove, MN
Loved it! I would recommend it highly, except be sure you eat breakfast before you go because it's a while before lunch is served.
Fun ambience, great menu, great instructions and pretty doable at home! Chef Giovanne is awesome!
This was one of the coolest things we got to try in Florence. All of our friends flipped when we told them we can make tiramisu from scratch. The class was long but wonderful fun and ends with a great dinner (that you just made). I highly recommend it.
This was a great add to our trip. Gave us a fun option besides shopping and museums. The chefs were very good, informative and patient. Would highly recommend it for anyone spending a few days in Florence.
Both my wife and I truly enjoy this cooking class. Both Andrea and Giovanni were wonderful with their presentation of each facet of our instructions. During our walk to the market we learn about each of our chefs previous experience. The food in which we created turned out great and the we both will have fond memories along with pictures of our time during the class.
Would gladly do this again! AWESOME was to experience Florence, and having something unique to bring home!
Surpise birthday gift which i would definitely recommend. I'm not the best cook but learnt a lot from this cooking lesson. Both chefs were friendly and gave a personal touch to all 20 in the room. The food we made was excellent! Great class!
I so wanted to take a cooking class during my trip to Florence -- this one was perfect! Chef Giovanni was engaging and fun, the food we prepared and the wine we drank were delicious! My daughter and I attended together and there were people of all ages in the class.
I would definitely recommend this program -- and REALLY wish I had scheduled the pizza and gelato class as well!
This will remain a highlight of my Florence vacation! Thank you Giovanni and everyone in the class who made it so fun!
