Small-Group Tuscany Wine-Tasting Tour from Florence

Small-Group Tuscany Wine-Tasting Tour from Florence

Your wine tasting tour will begin with pickup in central Florence. Settle into your seat for a 1-hour drive to the famous wine region of Chianti, and watch the landscape transform from the bustling city streets of Florence to rolling vineyards, olive groves and cypress trees.

Upon arriving, make your way to two wineries to sample the best blends of the region. With the help of your sommelier guide, learn how the Canaiolo and Sangiovese grapes are grown and sip to discover the varying characteristics of each blend. You’ll also have a chance to try a Chianti Classico, a regional favorite made from grapes grown between Florence and Siena. Taste up to six Chianti wines at both cellars, along with top-quality Tuscan olive oils.

Afterward, pause for lunch at a nearby restaurant, indulging in a 3-course, Tuscan lunch. Sample more Italian wines while you eat, as drinks are also included with your meal.

We loved this tour. Our guide Matteo was very knowledgeable and was also a sommelier so we knew we were getting the best information at all times. The wine was lovely and the tours of the vineyards were extra special. Lunch in the old cellar was lovely. Would definitely recommend if you have the time and want to see the Tuscan countryside.

This was a very enjoyable tour. The guide was very knowledgeable. the trip to the first winery included a stop along the road to see actual vineyard. Was not rushed at any of stops. Both wineries that we did tastings at were very very nice. The lunch included in the last stop was also the wine tasting which i thought was nice Food was authentic and delicious Wish it had even been longer. Highly recommend

Really enjoyed this day. Our tour guide Christian was very knowledgeable and interesting. Since we were all Americans, he made a quick stop along the way to show us the U.S. Memorial cemetary dedicated to those who died during World War II it was a mini Arlington. Enjoyed the 2 wineries , one was an old style , the other newer. Lunch was good
