Great class. Not only where the chefs and staff friendly, the other people taking the class were fun too. You start by cooking the meal then you sit down and eat. It's a wonderful way to spend a night in Florence if you are into food.
My wife and I were the only people that showed. The chef was humble, talented, and very willing to explain things in detail. I know it may have been different if more people were there, but Im sure he would acclimate to a larger crowd nicely. The food we cooked came out excellent, we actually learned a few things and the overall experience with eating dinner down in their wine cellar was an awesome experience.
This was an awesome experience! Alessandro was our chef for 4 of us at one station and 5 at another. We were able to participate in making the appetizer, gnocchi, sauces, chicken dish and dessert. Alessandro was very patient and made sure everyone was involved in the cooking. After we were done, we went downstairs to a lovely dining area and were served our dinner with wine. It was great fun and everyone in the class appeared to be having a great time!! Great value for the money - and you get the recipes to take home.
The food was delicious and the experience was great! I would do it again!
Valerie with Walks of Italy and bus driver Michelina through our Viator purchase were quite amazing! It was very apparent she enjoyed her job and was quite well versed in the history and knowledge of everywhere we went. She spoke great Englis b and had lots to suggest.
We traveled to Italy for my mother's 80th birthday and did many wonderful things during our stay. The cooking class in Florence was one of the highlights of the trip. It was enjoyed by all 10 of us.
My daughter and I took this cooking class our first night in Florence and it was a great way to learn Italien cooking and enjoy meeting other tourists. The recipes were delicious, plenty to eat and wine to drink and nice company to enjoy it with. The chefs were terrific. A little crowded with 20 people but we also took a pastry baking class with them in the afternoon and had a private lesson. Same chef and he was great. We made biscotti and cannoli so and we loved it!
My wife and I had a wonderful time at the class - one of the highlights of our trip. Made an awesome chicken cacciatore and fresh ravioli dinner. The chefs were very funny and personable, and we had fun eating afterward. One of the best meals we had in Italy!
This was well worth the time and money! You have four to six people who you cook with and there is plenty of room. The chefs do a great job in showing you and helping you if necessary and salvaging if you really mess up. Everyone at all the tables eat together at the end of the night and your with people from literally everywhere. Oh yes, they supply you with plenty of wine. We made some great friends that night and have been in contact long since our trip was over. We highly recommend this!
The Cooking Class was great! This was one of our favorite experiences from our two week trip to Italy. The chefs who guided us were both hilarious and helpful. After cooking a four course meal which took about two hours, we enjoyed the fruits of our labor for another hour while drinking wine. All in all, the cooking class was a lot of fun and also a good value. If you're looking for an enjoyable and unique evening in Florence, be sure to not miss this experience! Highly recommended.
Alessandro was fabulous as the instructor for our group. We met some people who we never knew before and will likely keep in touch with now because of the cooking class. Very well organized, everyone had the chance to participate, the time to eat the meal was very leisurely with no pressure to hurry up. The food we prepared actually worked! It was an experience we will recommend to anyone coming to Florence.
Daughter and her Bo went to this one and loved it. Clean with great chefs and good ingredients. Very nice.
Great class! The instructor was fun, affable and knowledgable. It was a beginner's course, but still a fun evening. Probably wouldn't recommend for more advanced cooks, but still a really fun evening.
One of our favorite evenings of our whole trip. Met nice people, instruction was good but not overbearing, had tons of fun, and absolutely loved the menu. We want to do it again. My husband and 20 year old daughter loved it too.
Assesandro was as good as the feedback I previously read. At first I was disappointed when I walked into the crowded room but that quickly disappeared when we where grouped into our cooking teams and got started. One of the most memorable things mom and I did in Florence. Food and fun!
Best experience of our Italy trip! The food we made was delicious. The chefs were fun and loved to teach. Our family 2 teenagers and parents would recommend this class without hesitation.
This was an amazing evening. The food was fantastic, the people were fun, the chefs were friendly and loved people. Francesco was so personable and such a sweetheart. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Would not hesitate to do this tour again, or recommend it to anyone visiting beautiful Florence.
Loved this. Learned to make pasta from scratch! Good was great and plenty of wine!
out tour guide Angelo was incredible , kept everyone on schedule and very infirmstive. The views and food was great all the way through. Highly recommend
This class was the highlight of our Florence visit. It was so much fun, and the dinner was delicious! We met so many nice people, and our teacher was awesome. We made four dishes - from scratch, and were given the recipes to take with us. So happy that I now know how to make crepes and have some new ideas on what to put in them! We ate our dinner including a delicious wine in the wine cellar below the kitchen, and the atmosphere was so nice. We loved this class and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence!
My sister and I had a ball. What a wonderful experience. Great chef and very friendly helpers. Loved this class. Will do it again if I ever go back to Florence.
Great fun! Our team of four cooked and ate all four courses. Lots of good wine too. Clear instructions and help from cooking school staff. My daughter said it was the highlight of our trip to Italy.
We had a fantastic time at our cooking class! We also had a better time eating what we made! We made gnocchi and tiramisu which were both outstanding. The teachers were all awesome!
