A good trip, especially Siena, enjoyed Lucca as well but could have missed Pisa altogether. Guide very good.
Great way to see a lot of part of Tuscany is a short period of time. We had a great tour and lovely people that we went with. Totally worth it.
One of best tours I did while in Italy
Incredible! So much in one day and I wouldn't have had it any other way! Excellent guides and when they said Machiavelli's estate for lunch, they weren't joking! The only problem was we got disconnected from the group in Sienna with all the groups in a large croud, and we had no card, phone number or contact information to find ours. Very scarry because they will go on without you! Get your tour guides number so you can have a merchant call them right away if you are separated. Otherwise, just wonderful!

This was spectacular! Lucca was disappointing due to lack of time, but the rest was wonderful. My favorite part was the visit to Macchiavelli's house for lunch. Our guide was excellent.
I really enjoyed spending a day in the Tuscany countryside. The tour starts with a walking tour of Sienna. Our guide was very good and I did not expect to see such a spectacular church which is highly worth seeing because of the artistic marbling on the floors and walls. The walking tour is about 2 to 2.5 hour. Then to Machevilli's estate for a nice lunch..I enjoyed the historical aspect of seeing the actual chair and desk where he wrote "The Prince". Next its to Lucca for about an hour of free time..nice little town that has lots to offer. Finally about an hour at Pisa. If you are thinking of going up in the Pisa. add the skip the line and be aware that you will be climbing around 225 steps. I thought everything was done very well and the timing was good. It is a full 12 hour day.
This was a long 12 hour day with much time in the bus driving places but the places were so awesome it was worth it. The lunch/wine was fabulous. The Sienna tour was also wonderful. The guide did a wonderful job. I would go again.
Our trip was great. We had a wonderful meal at the winery and some great wine. This tour provided an excellent opportunity to see the smaller towns. Pesa, Sienna and Lucca were all well worth the trip.
I loved Siena and the Chianti wine tasting tour, I could have skipped Pisa
Wonderful experience, lunch was terrific, both tour guides (Chiara and Elizabetta) were extremely knowledgeable . Tour bus was a little outdated.
I enjoyed this tour. It was a long day though--luckily there is time to nap on the bus in between towns. The town of Siena was my favorite--and I'd like to have spent some independent time there. The Pisa and Lucca portions of the tour were very rushed. The lunch with the wine-tasting was also my favorite--delicious food and a entertaining and peaceful lunch hour. Pauola, our tour guide, was amazing. She was very easy to understand and had a lot of information to share with us. Our bus driver's driving made me feel safe as well.
Great tour but you should allow a half hour of free time in Siena once we are in the Piazza and reduce tje amount of time over lunch at the Machiavelli site by half hour.
Informative tour in Siena
Our Tour guide for both the tour and Sienna were fabulous! The bus was comfortable and the company GREAT! We enjoyed the itinerary, the history, and the sites were fabulous. The only thing I would recommend is when us as customers are supposed to be at the meeting point by a certain time, that that is the go time. We ended up losing over an hour because someone was late, then we turned around and waited again for a person who never showed. This ended up eating into our time at Lucca- which we really wanted to see more of. Other then that recommendation, the tour was perfect and a highly recommended addition to a Florence trip!
Siena was incredible, and our guide there was phenomenal... I think her name was Angela? but I cannot remember. She did a fabulous job walking us through the town and sharing history (and her history of being baptised at the Duomo). Would have loved to shop here, but didn't have time.
The lunch at Machiavelli's was nice, and the three wines were lovely. Note - for those looking for a wine tasting tour of Tuscany- this is not it.
Too little time in Lucca, but there's a lot packed into the day.
Pisa was incredibly rushed, and our guide did nothing to ensure that our group was together, or that we all made it to the Tower. All the street vendors detracted from the beauty of the church and the Tower (the vendors look like a carnival).
Skip the line was worth it, only because it ensured that you got a ticket to go up. The 225 steps up and down!! But the view from the top of the Tower at sunset is quite beautiful.
Love this tour!! Love Sienna the place is so beautiful! Unfortunately, we didn't spend too much time in Lucca less than an hour is not enough to see the place..Pisa was another beautiful place. Our lunch was at the Machiavelli house that was a fantastic treat!!! I highly recommend this tour!
