The guide was great. She was very well educated and interesting to listen to. The trip to the Tuscan organic farm was an extraordinary experience. The food was great and the views spectacular. One of our groups drank too much causing them to vomit on the bus which was awful to deal with, but other than that, I would rate the tour an A.

Wonderful tour - Sandra was our tour guide, and she was excellent. She has great knowledge of the area's history, and made that info come alive. This was a highlight of our trip to Paris, Florence, and Rome. The Tuscany countryside is beautiful, and we enjoyed having a day that was all planned by someone else.

Wow, what a great time my family and I had on this Tuscany tour. Sandra was a terrific tour guide and made the whole day enjoyable. She not only takes care of the tour group but also spends time with you individually sharing information and making sure all of the questions you have are answered. Everthing from the tour (and guide) in Sienna to the delicious meal will be a fond memory for us. Walk-a-bout does it right. Thank you!

All the reviews are right about this tour. I was so lucky to have brilliant weather in February so you got the benefit of the views. The sites we visited had so few crowds that it was easy to get coffee. The lunch and wine tasting was really good and helped to get everyone chatting and I met some really interesting people. A must tour to get a real sense of the Tuscany region and they have some great wine!

Despite the rain this was a top day. Stephano our guide was attentive and entertaining. The walking tour of Sienna was informative and beautiful. Lunch at the organic farm was great. A little more time at San Gimignano would have been nice.

This day was hands down was the best day of our of two week stay in Florence. We boarded a luxury bus at the Novella train station and had the incredible good fortune of having Stephano as our guide. This young gentleman was amazingly charasmatic, knowledgeable and super attentive to everyones needs the entire trip. The approximately 1.5 hour bus ride was very comfortable with reclining bucket seats and the views of the wine country along the way were spectacular. We were treated to the sights and sounds of the picturesque town of Sienna, complete with another magnificient guide. We were fortunate to be there when they had a chocalate fair in the main piazza going on. We then were treated to an incredible tuscan lunch with pasta, different cheeses, prosciutto, etc., along with three types of delicious wines. If you only have time for one tour while staying in Florence, be sure to take this one and to make sure Stephano from Walkabout tours is your guide.

The day was great although would loved to have had more time in Siena. We had a good tour guide there who was really interesting. San Giminagno was really interesting and we had a great lunch at the Cianti winery. Went to Pisa although it is not my favourite place it was interesting for others I am sure.

Our tour guide Becky was fantastic. The day was perfect even though it was a bit rainy. We visited charming Italian villages, eat lunch at lovely hilltop vineyard that offered not just tastes of their wonderful wine with lunch but entire bottles. The tour ended at Pisa with the leaning tower. Don't miss the old Roman cemetary building. This tour is the best way to see the countryside without having to rent a car.
