What You Can Expect

VIP Experience: Uffizi Gallery and Vasari Corridor Walking Tour Including Terrace Breakfast

Walk around the rooms of the Uffizi Gallery while listening to your guide!

At 8am, meet your professional guide in Central Florence and head to the Uffizi Gallery. You’ll skip the long lines with VIP entry as soon as the doors open – before the general public steps foot inside!

Embark on a 2-hour guided walking tour through the gallery's main rooms. Hear informative commentary on the artwork and gain insight into the history behind the Renaissance works. Then, on the sunny gallery terrace, enjoy an Italian breakfast, a coffee with a selection of pastries.

After exploring the Uffizi Gallery, the doors leading to the Vasari Corridor will be opened exclusively to your small group. Built above the Ponte Vecchio, the passageway dates back to 1564 and stretches almost a mile between Palazzo Pitti, over the Arno to Palazzo della Signoria. Hidden between city houses and even passing through a church, the corridor has evolved as one of the most astounding architectural masterpieces of the Renaissance.

Having private access when the Vasari Corridor is closed to the general public is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that allows you to get up close to its highlights. As your guide transports you back to the times of the Medici, imagine the royal Cosimo and his wife, Eleonora, walking along their private corridor from one side of Florence to the other while observing the crowd below!

The Vasari Corridor ends at the Boboli Gardens, and your VIP tour concludes at noon just outside the gardens where you can continue exploring Florence on your own.

I was really impressed by this tour. Even if it starts very early, it was definitely well worth the early wake up. We entered the Uffizi Gallery the first ones, and managed to see the empty rooms before anybody else got on the museum, which was an amazing feeling, as the museum gets really busy afterwards when they open the doors. Our guide was probably one of the best guides I’ve ever had, and I’ve been on many tours! He was really passionate and instead of just explaining what the paintings were and who they were by, he made us live and breathe art. That was great, as there’s so much art in Italy that when we then went to another museum I could feel like I understood much better. We had breakfast at the terrace at the Uffizi, which was a great experience. And then the visit of the Vasari corridor, which is normally closed to the public, so we got a private visit for us, which was amazing. It’s impressing the amount and quality of art you get at the Vasari corridor, and felt very privileged that we could have access to this. Definitely recommend this tour!
