It was a very informative trip round Uffizi then Breakfast and then the corridor. I have wanted to do this for some time and there it was on your list. Because it is expensive the tour was just 2 couples, 4 people and there was lots of time for questions. We use your company when we go to cities and always do a foodie tour and have never been let down. They are great.
This is fantastic tour. Our guide, Anika, was extremely knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. The Uffizi is crowded with group tours even before it opens, but the crowds are nothing compared to later in the day. After a stop on the terrace for breakfast, we entered the Vasari Corridor, which our small group had to ourselves. Walking above the Ponte Vecchio is a unique experience. The self-portraits of artists commissioned by the Medicis that line its walls are fascinating. Definitely worth the price.
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Mario was a very knowledgable guide and we felt that the tour was not only a great introduction to Florence, but also an introduction to the history of art - both our understanding and appreciation of the art of different epochs has been greatly improved.
Would highly recommend this VIP Experience to friends visiting Florence - ability to see Uffizi before it fills with crowds of people and access to Vasari Coridor are very unique. And enthusiastic and knowledgable guides make the tour even more interesting.
Smoothly arranged and delivered. The guide, Barabara, was accommodating and knowledgeable. She was happy to dwell where we were interested and answer all questions however simple. A truly unforgettable experience.
Lovely tour and beneficial to go early in the morning. The Vasari corridor is spectacular and we were the only group allowed in at the time of day.
Incredible experience. awesome tour guide. walking through the Vasari corridor...wow!
This was a wonderful tour. The guide was knowledgeable about the subject. We enjoyed the walk through the corridor. The tour included a break that was a welcome respite during this long morning tour.
What a fantastic tour. Our guide was Mariogesu. He explained that in the off season he is an actor. Well it showed in his character and presentation. Such enthusiasm. We realise that an understanding of art can be one person's interpretation. Whatever, Our guide's interpretation was incredibly inciteful and interesting. I learned more about Florentine religious art in a few hours that I've learned in a lifetime. Don't go for the breakfast, it consisted of a croisant and a coffee but the rest of the tour was really great.
Wonderful tour and well worth the expense. Our guide, Julia, was very informative regarding the art and history of Florence. The highlight was the private tour of the Vasari Corridor which finished in the Boboli Gardens. I wish it had been cooler as a walk through here would have been great but it was far too hot.
This was an exceptional expereince in terms of the special access and a terrific tour guide.
Great tour and guide. I enjoyed the tour greatly and enjoyed the guide
This was a lovely experience and the early morning start was great to beat the queues! Vasari corridor was a fabulous treat almost alone above the Ponte Vecchio. Excellent.
This was well worth spending the extra money. We arrived at the Uffizi Gallery and were whisked through an alternate private entrance. We then proceeded to tour the Gallery before the general public were allowed through. Our group had 12 and we were alone in the Gallery for most of the tour which was beyond luxurious. Being able to stand in awe of the art and the architectural wonder without being bustled was indescribable. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and had a sense of humor that lightened some of the dark parts of the history. Walking the Vasari Corridor felt like royalty and the breakfast was a welcome break to sit and relax on the roof and enjoy the view. I would recommend this to anyone and felt it was well worth the extra money.
