This is a wonderful tour of the amazing UFFIZI GALLERY and the VASARI CORRIDOR is a must,
The early start was great as the weather had been very hot. The light snack in the very nice cafe was very well organised.
BARBARA our guide was excellent as she is very knowledgeable about history and art plus she ischarming and very bubbly her passion for art truly shows through.
The only glitch we had were the instructions for meeting the guide were not clear therefore I emailed VIATOR the previous day requesting clear instructions on where to meet - to date I still have not had a reply.
We were lucky in that we happened upon another family who were ibooked on the same tour who also
Did not have clear instructions - luckily by default we found our tour . Thank you BARBARA for a wonderful tour.
One of the best tours I have ever done - the guide was amazing and we saw so much. If you are only going to the to Uffizi for one day / half a day, DO THIS TOUR!!!
Great guide and outstanding visit of the Gallery and the Vasari Corridor!
Excelente! Put tour guide Mario Gesu went abouve and beyond not only showing up but also teaching us how to recongize art when we see it.
Highly recomend it!!!
The tour was excellent, and the guide was incredibly knowledgeable, a woman with an art history degree from a university in Florence. Seeing the Vasari corridor was a fabulous experience, and I am so happy I had the opportunity to do so!
Barbara was the perfect guide! The tour flew by. She made the art come alive with very personal details about the artists and the culture surrounding their work. Highly Highly recommend!
Definitely an outstanding experience! Our guide, Mario was passionate about his florentine treasures and taught us how to feel the same, bravo! Good start for your 2-3 day visit to the Uffizi. The corridor experience was unique, and had a nice continental breakfast at the right time.
This tour was excellent and our guide was extremely knowledgeable. We highly recommended it to everyone!
This was a great tour and is definitely one of the top 5 things to do/see in Florence.
Excellent tour. Just the right level of information and fantastic opportunity to do something a bit special
Overall, an excellent tour. Our guide, Caterina was very knowledgeable and passionate about the art and history of the Uffizi. The tour of the Vasari corridor was special....we were one of only two groups in the corridor and felt very special to have essentially a private tour of the corridor.
United States of America
Best tour we had on a two week trip to Italy. Guide was very good and the Vasari Corridor was special since almost nobody else was allowed through the secret door and we were alone inside for a very private tour. Fantastic art and stories about the buildings, art, history of the place and time. Wonderful!
The guide was brilliant. Worth doing but wanted to go back and spend more time looking.
We have been to the Uffizi a number of times, but this time with a wonderful quide it was quite informative and interesting. Our guide was absolutely wonderful. I cannot give her high enough praise. The tour of the Vasari Corridor was a treat and definitely interesting. We would highly recommend this tour
Our tour was excellent. There were four in our party. Caterina, our guide, was very knowledgable and charming. We would recommend her for any tour.
A wonderful tour and a great guide! Barbara was a delight and so passionate about Florence and the artwork in this amazing museum. Highly recommended!
The tour guide was excellent, being very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject matter, integrating the art history with the social and historic events of the time. She had very good people skills as well, and entertained the group with her commentary. It was good to access the gallery before it became too crowded. The entry to the Vasari corridor was definitely worthwhile and enhanced the historical context of the tour. The breakfast was disappointing considering the cost of the tour - it was only a coffee/tea and one pastry. The breakfast definitely needs to be upgraded.
A very good tour. Was Great getting in before the gallery got busy. Guide was friendly and had good knowledge. The breakfast was ok. And the walk through Vasari corridor was a real experience. Would recommend to anyone.
The guide is very knowledgeable. The highlight of the tour is walking through the Varsari Corridor. It gives you an idea the power and influence of Medici family in the Renaissance period. Recommend that add a word Continental before Breakfast to avoid misunderstanding. It is great to have a short break with coffee and croissant on the terrace.
The tour guide, Vanessa, was very good, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and had a good and entertaining delivery. We were very fortunate in that by reason of a strike we were the only ones allowed in the Uffizi so had a wonderful, uncluttered view of all the paintings. The particular use of technology provided was clever and effective. The only criticism one might have is to call one coffee or tea and one croissant (but since I am wheat allergic I could not even have that) breakfast is a bit of an exaggeration but maybe the selection was reduced because of the strike. All in all an enjoyable tour with a good guide made better by some good fortune.
