Take the "Touristic Road of Champagne" into the heart of champagne country to discover the history and secrets of this mythical drink on this excursion from Paris.
The sacred town of Reims is the capital of the Champagne region and known throughout the world for its sparkling wine, champagne. Reims is also the city of coronations where most of the French Kings were crowned.
In the morning, your orientation tour of Reims includes a guided visit of the Gothic cathedral. Then onto the Mumm cellars for a commented visit and a tasting of the famous Cordon rouge Champagne wine.
In the afternoon, enjoy the picturesque landscape of vines between Reims and Epernay. At Epernay you will visit the prestigious wine cellars of Moet & Chandon with the opportunity to taste their reputed wine.
Please note: The cellars visit is a walking tour. The cellars can be cold so please dress warmly.
