Wonderful trip, it was very relaxing. Our guide Peter was very interactive.
A good trip and Peter was a marvelous guide good in explaining to us the history of the place and the landscape. Unfortunately, it was a holiday and we encountered several jams along the autobahn.
We were a small group (6 in total) and had a fantastic tour guide.
A complete washout because of incessant rain but our tour guide was innovative enough to take us to Strasbourg as well. An excellent experience in spite of the weather that day !!
The tour was an excellent introduction to the wonderful Black Forest area. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and he made it very easy to ask questions and learn more. Next time I visit the area I will do so via hiking and exploring more deeply.
This tour was one of the best tours I have ever done. I have already put a review on trip advisor. It was personal -small group - the tour guide was excellent and spoke excellent English and he worked very hard to ensure that we all had a great visit.it was like I was visiting the area with a friend. The guide's name was Peter and the tour was through ETS.
Also went with a group to Strasborg for a river cruise. Was great. Black forest was very nice with the views back down into the valley a spectacular.Baden-Baden would require more time to see. This tour was excellent.
Hi... The tour started at 9.30am as promised. Since the group was small (8), we travelled in a Mini Van instead of a bus/coach. The travel guide drove is well through the motorway to Baden Baden, Black Forest and Strasbourg was included in this trip. It was a nice experience.
It was really good. The driver/ tourguide Peter is knowledgable and gave us a deep insight into the Baden Baden background. My family really enjoyed this tour and I would recommend this tour. Blackforest is really scenic and we managed to buy our cuckoo clock and try the Blackforest cake there. Thumbs up.
This is a good day trip. Both Black Forest and Baden Baden are interesting places to visit. Our guide, Peter is knowledgeable. The only thing is that we were not informed that Strasbourg was included, otherwise we could have more time to spend in the intended places.
This tour was okay. The only complaint I have is that the tour company decided to add Strasburg to the itinerary and did not inform us. I felt sorry for the tour guide/driver Peter. It was fine about the change, but if the tour company would have just informed us. I was happy with the tour and with Peter, but not very happy with the tour company. We toured two days with this company, and they were not very honest.
Had a lovely time tour conductor Peter was such a lovely Man really enjoyed only thing would have liked a little extra time in Black Forrest as this was whole purpose of going on trip but would recommend it to all
Quite disappointed. We were not shown the casino's beautiful interiors as described online. Why wasn't the tour structured? We didn't get to see the baths, just walked through Baden Baden small city section. We paid too much, we were out for only 8 hrs 39 mins, not the 11 hrs, paid too much.
Not worth the trip unless you are going for the spa in Baden Baden. Go for the Strasbourg is more wothwhile. But I was switched to the tour including Strasbourg w/o being informed beforehand and charged extra 10 EUR.
Two similar tours were advertised, one of which included Strasbourg, I chose this tour as I have been to Strasbourg, however on boarding the coach I discovered both tours included Strasbourg, this tour allowing an hour of free time, the other a boat trip on the canals. An hour to explore Strasbourg is totally inadequate and the boat trip not very interesting.
Arriving in Baden Baden, a delightful town, we were walked to the spa to use the facilities, then back to the bus. No free time.
Next stop, one hour to buy cuckoo clocks, time which would have been better spent in Baden Baden.
Then a long long drive to Strasbourg, for one hour, then an even longer drive back to Frankfurt.
A totally wasted day
