There were 3 of us who signed up for this tour, so we went with VW car instead of a bus. In a way, it is nice like a private tour.
Strasbourg is a pretty place to visit, the cruise is wonderful, but we didn't have enough time to explore the city, we had to rush and continued to Black Forest and Baden Baden. I wish we can stay longer in Strasbourg. My suggestion is to have a separate tour to Strasbourg only as it took 2 1/2 hours to get there or we should start the tour earlier. We left at 9:30 am and had to be back by 5 pm.
Black Forest is interesting, the cake is yummy, it was worth the visit to the bakery shop. Baden Baden is ok, I didn't plan to visit this place, just because the other 2 people (a couple) plan to visit so I went along with them.

Maybe my least favorite trip while I was in Germany, and I went on 7 tours. It is just a lot to pack into 1 day - so you don't get to stay anywhere for a solid amount of time. Strasbourg - boat ride was nice but then you rush off to go to black forest - no time to walk around and the city is beautiful. Then once you get to the Black forest it was like here it is - ok get back in the car time to go to Baden Baden. I would have liked to walk on the trails and explored. Baden Baden was kind of a waste of time - there was nothing to do, you walk into the casino and then walk out.

We saw BadenBaden, the Black Forest, Lake Mummelsee, Strasbourg - quite a lot for the time allotted so I felt a bit rushed. The lake was stupendous - it was too cold for the paddle boat so I would recommend doing this tour in the summer months. A little rushed trying to get everything in. There was a canal cruise in Strasbourg - included - rather drawn out - crowded - would rather have had more time to wander around the town. Some time for shopping at the Lake but not enough! The lunch was provided but was only a juice box and a cheese/pickle sandwich - not good!

Very rushed tour- we were rushed through Baden Baden and Strasbourg. We did not get admittance into the casino at Baden Baden which the description said was covered and were not allowed to shop at pretty much any point of the trip. The included box lunch consisted of a sandwich with one piece of sliced turkey on it and a small juice box. Tour was 13 hours long- tour guide Mike was very good - animated and informative, bus was just OK. They did come pick us up from and drop us off at our hotel - which was very nice. Pretty towns with cute houses and flowers.

The location and the view were lovely. But we felt cheated after paying over £250 to find that we had no professional guide. My partner and I were the only passengers in a people’s carrier that took us to all the locations. The driver was sweet but had no clue about anything. There were several brown boards on the autobahn indicating historical sites one was the Ligne Maginot. When I asked him what it was he said it was the special track for emergency services!!! We could have hired a chauffeured taxi for the day for much less and got the same service. Definitely felt cheated and diappointed.

Overall, the trip was ok. The guide, Peter, was excellent - very knowledgable in all 3 towns we visited. However, the trip was overpriced for what it was and I would not recommend it to others. In Strasbourg, there was no boat tour (due to a strike), yet there was no offer of compensation back for this missed portion of the trip. We did tour Strasbourg (supposedly as plan B), but as I understand it from another family that took the tour earlier in the week, they toured Strasbourg and had the boat tour, and their comments were that if you didn't have the boat tour, that was the highlight of the trip. The Black Forest was excellent, and probably the best part of the trip. Baden-Baden was ok, although not overly stimulating - a nice German spa town, but saw shops, many of which I could have seen in Frankfurt. I would recommend a Black Forest only trip, but not the Strasbourg and Baden-Baden portion of it. The lunch was VERY disappointing - if you're going to include lunch, make it better than packaged sandwiches (which no one liked) and juice boxes. Overall, the trip was disappointing and very overpriced.

Very poorly organized and executed tour. There was no guide on this tour, and the driver of the van offered no information about the sights we were about to visit. We spent a lot of time waiting in line for the tickets for the river tour in Strasbourg (the river tour itself was great, but it had nothing to do with our driver/guide). The entire excursion was hectic, the drive in the van was tiring because of the non-stop loud conversation our tour companions were having for the entire duration (the driver did not go over the simple rules of sharing a small space between 7 people). The informational value was zero. And we were almost one and a half hours late getting back to Frankfurt (even though there was no traffic to hold us back!).

This was definitely not a "luxury" bus as advertised, the lunch provided was very meager and unsatisfying, and the trip takes forever. I would not recommend this trip.

My friend and I travelled with a small group of eight travellers. We took a small van and the driver was also the tour guide. Our tour guide was Michael and got to know that he was only a guide for mere 6 months, prior to this he was working in the banking industry. Mount the curbs along the journey couple of times, citing that the vehicle is too long. When we were at blackforest, we had a small car accident where our tour van rammed on the side of a parked car.
As for the tour, it is just too much for a day tour. Only managed to stay in each destination, Black forest, Baden Baden and Strasbourg for less than an hour or max an hour each. Strasbourg is beautiful but was a pity that the tour guide didnt manage to get the boat trip tickets as the queue was too long. He compensated us with blackforest cake at Baden Baden but was a rush one too. Sat down for a mere 20min and we were ushered to leave.
The tour agency should review this tour package again and reconsider the ability of their drivers to drive and work as a tour guide at the same time. The tourists' including the driver's well-being should be of utmost importance.
