We have enjoy this tour from the beginning to the end, especially vine tasting.
Very worthwhile trip
Brilliant full day tour. Was hoping to have more time in Heidelberg but need to catch for the Rhine tour. Guide was really great and the sites visited are also nice. Recommended for those who visit Frankfurt.

Excellent. Guide was superb. Wine tasting and rhine valley trip was excellent.
Two trips in one day really, first out to Heildelberg with a good time and explanations around the castle, then time in the old city area. Back to Frankfurt and join the Rhine River cruise tour which was a delight, the meal at one of the hotels along the river was interesting!!!!
A fantasic day out with a very knowlegeable tour guide. Would recommend this to anyone.

Good day trip. Great scenery. Didn't really care for the ice wine tasting.
The morning trip to Heidelberg started not too early and the starting point was easy to find. Our guide was quite experienced and didn't talk too much also! Saw almost all of everything but of course it is a 4 and 1/2 hour tour and we couldn't stay too long in any place
The afternoon tour to the Rhine Valley was interrupted by late Friday afternoon peak hour traffic but we managed to get to the ferry on time after a bit of F1 style of driving. Magnificent views even through the occasional rain downpour so don't worry about rain. The dinner included was quite plain but I was hungry by then and ate it without complaint although.. I would suggest that the Wiener Schnitzel is not worth the extra money if it is offered to you. Recommended otherwise.
Heidelberg and Rhine were lovely. Great tour guides, average dinner.
Heidelberg and the Rhine Valley are must see! Would have liked to have more time walking around in Heidelberg. Our tour guide was a little bit of a "know it all" but overall a very enjoyable tour .
This was a fabulous day out with great sights to be seen. Our tour guide, Peter, did a wonderful job of keeping a very large group of very different people together and mostly on time. He had to manage a very demanding group of Canadian "Dance Moms" with their children on a dancing tour to Heidelberg under some kind of control who were often wanting to do their own thing and not be part of the group. They whinged and whined, but it did not get to Peter, or our driver Manfred, who did an amazing job on the Heidelberg part of this trip. The Rhine River cruise was fantastic and the castles rolling by on the banks, with wine fields rising up over the hills, was a beautiful site to see while sipping a glass of white wine, indoors and out of the cold. My only negative about the day was to be aware that this is two half day tours, which means traveling away from and back to the tour office twice in the one day. That doubled the length of time in the bus. Other than that, a memorable day. Thank you Peter and Manfred, it was a great day.
The guide was very informative and friendly. However, I would have liked to of spent more time at Heidelberg Castle.
Our tour guide made the trip a lot of fun and enjoyable. She spoke very good English and kept her cool when some passengers gave her a hard time. The town and castle were well worth the trip. It was rainy for the Rhine Valley Cruise, but the boat was very nice and the scenery was still lovely.
