This was a fabulous trip. Germany is such a delightful tourist destination. We enjoyed the castle experiences and Rothenberg is a treasure. The guide commentary was clear and informative, but non-intrusive. The hotels were well appointed with friendly professionals. They offered good breakfasts. Bus/taxi pickups are well organized.

Great trip...Drivers were very helpful. Accomadations were excellent. I would take another tour but would probably stay longer at the stops. I didn't know the buses run everyday so you can stay longer at one location

Though without a tour guide, the logistic is well organised and arranged. The medieval towns are beautiful. Having said that, it would be better if (i) we can be given the option to select better grade hotels at Rottenburg; and (ii) a bit more time can be spent at Dinkelsbuhl where we had a 15 minutes stop only.

Trip was good. THe issue we had was travel vouchers (which we were unaware of before the trip). When we arrived at our first hotel night, they asked for vouchers, to which we had no idea. THe confirmation document was all we received and presented to the bus driver, who took the document. Apparent this has happened to others. Perhaps a change in the system would eliminate confusion? The bus driver could distribute "vouchers" to the participants when they arrive for pickup with the confirmation email/document.

It was worth to join this trip if you just want to spend only 3 days in the romantic road. The trip highlight the key scenery of the romantic road, the hotels are good. However, the last day from Neuschwanstein to Munich was arranged in the car of local tour, my husband and I need to sit separately as most of the seats are already occupied on the local tour. Suggest the tour to reserve some seats for the people book in this trip.

Fantastic scenery!! Hotel Spitzweg and the Hotel Muller were great choices. The bus connections were slightly confusing but all in all a very memorable trip.

We were not too impressed with the bus service. It got us where we were going but it would have been nice to stop at more locations along the way. Rothenburg, Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein were just as I imagined. I always said that if I went to Germany, Neuschwanstain was definitely going to be a location that I would visit. I was not disappointed. The lodging there was excellent. The hotel in Rothenburg was like out of a fairy tale book. It looked and felt medieval, but had all the amendities that I expected. The town had so much character. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Absolutely wonderful. We were the only two on the entire tour bus! The only draw back was the fact that part of the castle was covered with scaffolding! Our Frankfurt hop-on hop-off tour was cancelled with no notification before hand!!

Started with a small issue with the bus driver but by the end of the day we were fine. The bus was a bit warm. Everything else was great! Beautiful countryside, fabulous and friendly hotels in both Rothenburg and Hohenschwangau!
