• This tour must be booked at least 48 hours in advance of travel.
• Confirmation for this product will be received within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability.
• Tour is operated in English unless otherwise stated.
• It is important that you are fully aware of the conditions of the trip you will be participating in. Guides reserve the right to curtail or cancel trips for clients whose fitness is not appropriate.
• The glacier walks are quite challenging as the glacier is advancing and becoming very steep, and clients need to be fit and able.
• Refunds will not be available for clients who cannot participate on the day due to inappropriate fitness levels i.e. it is important you are selecting the right trip for your physical fitness ability.
• Franz Josef Glacier receives 5 meters of annual rainfall. Refunds will not be available to those clients who decide not to participate because it is raining or because they will get wet feet during the trip.
• Hotel pick up is available from all Franz Josef centrally located hotels. Please advise your full hotel name and address at time of booking.

What should I wear or bring with me?
Please bring three layers of very warm clothing for your upper body (fleece, wool, thermal underwear) and lightweight trousers e.g. quick drying trousers or leggings (no jeans - they get wet and cumbersome). Also, bring along a snack, small bottle of water, sunglasses and sunscreen.
