All three of us loved the sights from the mountain. It is definitely worth the time and effort to do it all and go to the very top. Even my older parents were glad they did it!

Great experience. There were only eight of us, so it made for a great chance to interact with the others. The guide could have been more informative on the bus ride, but the mountain was awesome. I read not great comments about the lunch, but I thought is was very good and more than enough. Well worth the trip.

Fantastic experience. I am terrified of heights but am so glad I made the effort.

The tour itself was wondeful. The scenery was absolutely amazing and breath taking, literally. Be mindful that the air is thinner up top and you may get a bit lightheaded. The lunch on this tour was poor to mediocre. I think lunch should not be included and let you go off on your own, especially when it is a small group, as the one we had. Our tour guide was nice. She did mention that the tour is busier and you will be more rushed in the summer due to the crowds. Additionally, she mentioned that in Nov, you cannot go to the Mer de Glace usually because they are doing upkeep and maintenance, so if you go then, you will not see the Mer likely. Mont Blanc is absolutely gorgeous!

A very nice tour. Chamonix and Mt Blanc were fantastic. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Only one point to address that could make this trip outstanding. The amount of time at MontenversMer de Glace was only one hour and the cable cars were not operating. It took practically 45 minutes to walk down the hill to the glacier. If we would have known it would have taken us that long we wouldn't have even done that. By the time we got to the bottom the cable cars were running. We took them back to the top without getting a chance to get to the glacier.

The trip was a blast. The place is simply breathtaking. The ride up with the cable car was exhilarating and the spectacular panoramic views of the Swiss, French and Italian alps were indescribable. Up the Aiguille du Midi was a real freezing delight. Be prepared to be captivated by natures beauty. At all angles, the views of glaciers, snow-capped alps and landscapes were just amazing. The cable ride down overlooking the valleys in between the alps was not also disappointing. I'd say, it was a perfect getaway...

This was the highlight to my trip, my first experience with snow and wow what an experience. Going up in the cable car was amazing, and then we had plenty of time up there to take in the marvel of this amazing area. It was breathtaking. The lunch was 5 star, and the view we had looking back up at Mont Blanc is an experience that I will never forget. Then going to the glacier and down to the ice cave was just the icing on the cake. It was tough work going down the stairs and through the ice cave and then getting back up the stair so we didn't miss the bus, but it was well worth it. This is the tour of all tours.

I really enjoyed our guide. He was very professional and fun to spend the day with. The only change I would make is to shorten the lunch by allowing the people to get their own and meet at a given spot and then be escorted to the afternoon event. There just wasn't enough time to do the glacier trip in the afternoon. By the time we got up there, we had about 45 minutes to get down to the glacier, see it and get back on the the train in order to meet our guide. So most of us just had a cup of hot chocolate at the cafe once we got up there because the chairlifts were down for lunch, and then we got back on the train to meet our guide in time. Oh well! At least we got to see Mt. Blanc.

Excellent experience, well worth the money. I would definitely do it again, however not enough time at the top. Would prefer not the have the lunch and get the 50 minutes extra at the top but great day. Tour guide was good fun and made is an enjoyable day !!

This was an excellent trip. We were lucky to go to Chamonix on a beautiful, sunny day and, after the cable car ride to Aiguille du Midi, had breathtaking panoramic views of France, Switzerland and Italy. Chamonix, 2800m below, looked like a model village.

This was, literally and metaphorically, the high point of the tour. The railway trip up to Mer de Glace was also good, but the timetable meant that we did not have time to visit the ice caves. I do think this should be made clear on the website so that visitors can opt out of the admittedly excellent lunch at Chamonix, thus gaining an extra hour at the Mer de Glace.

Our guide was informed and helpful. His dry humour was much appreciated, and his reassurances about the effects of altitude sickness were very welcome.

I would recommend this trip with the one caveat I mentioned.

Loved the tour to Mt. Blanc and Chamonix. Tour guide was great. Not enough time at the top, though, as very long lines. We felt very rushed to get down so we wouldn't miss the rest of the tour. Pick another restaurant. Everyone at our table was seriously disappointed. Should warn of the amount of steps to climb up if you go down to see the glacier, especially for senior citizens. Overall, it was one of the highlights of our trip. We loved it.

Pickup and drop-off location was a breeze, just off Rue de Mont Blanc. We had an extremely small group for the day, so it was easy to do everything on the agenda. It's a 60-minute ride to Chamonix from downtown Geneva. The ride to the top was spectacular. Many mountaineers up top the day we were there. Being flatlanders, we struggled a bit at 4600 meters. Views were astounding. These are serious mountains. Lunch was the perfect way to break up the day. A nice glass of wine while soaking up the alpine scenery was great fun. The cog railway to the Mer de Glace allowed us just enough time to take the gondola to the glacier, wander around the ice caves for about 20 minutes, then back to town for the ride back. It is a tight schedule, but with the small group, we covered everything. We had friends that took the train from Geneva and then paid a la carte to do some of the activities. They did not even scratch the surface compared to what we were able to do. This is not an inexpensive trip, but we would do it again in a heartbeat! Our guide was precise but not overbearing. He directed us, and we were off on our own most of the time. The extra freedom was much appreciated.

This was really worth every penny! Viator rocks. We will always take Viator tours wherever possible. The only problem was that there was a mistake in the code mentioned on our receipt; fortunately, the guide rectified it immediately and it was absolute fun. Mont Blanc is highly recommended. Myself and my wife loved everything from the cable car ride to the sights of the Alps.
