Wonderful tour, very knowledgeable guide Ria. Highly recommended!
Thank you Viator!
Looking forward for the next trip with your company.
Excellent tour and tour guide. If you had to choose between this and Day Trip to Lausanne, Montreux and Château de Chillon, I would choose this one. The experience of eating chocolate and having fondue in Gruyeres was a wonderful memory as well as the stop in Montreux (LeDeck) with outstanding views and glass of wine in hand, I never wanted to leave.
Very good to see you are in middle of Europe. Amazing seen and beautiful weather
Excellent itenary, bus driver and guide. Enjoyed every miniute of it
Our tour was well worth it. It was well organised and informative as well as enjoyable.
The trip was great Margarita the guide was very good! Although its saying that lunch is not included the cheese tasting and fondue was full feeling. Also chocolates at the factory are cheaper!
A wonderfully delicious experience! Started w/a tour of the chocolate factory and ended w/all you can eat chocolate. Lunch consisted of fondue and several yummy cheeses in an old and cozy farm. Then only about 45 mins to view the town and castle. Ended with wine at a restaurant terrace. So fun!
This was an excellent tour. Chocolate factory was fascinating. Enjoyed the behind the scenes cheese making and fondue lunch. Gruyere, especially the castle, is fascinating. Trip was well organized, on time and very comfortable. Train ride part of the way down was scenic. Have recommended to others.
Lady tour guide was very nice and had lots of info on the sites. Chocalate factory tour was fun and had a wonderful smell of chocolate. The drive to the factory was amazing. Mtns , the lake, the beatiful green hills. We went to a local cheesemaker who provided us a lunch of cheeses , local meats and wine. Then we made fondue which was yummy. Next we took the panoramic train, which half way through was foggy, but thats no fault of the tour. Overall a wonderful experience and the highlight of my 3 day trip to Switzerland !
This full day outing takes you through some spectacular Swiss countryside. The guide, Maggie, was very friendly and fluent in 5 languages. Our weather was perfect and we did not want to leave the incredible view at "Le Deck", where we could have lingered until sunset. About 3 hrs of his trip is on a bus, which accounts for the full day, but well worth it.
Great trip overall and very well organized. We hit a lot of rain in the mountains so the scenic train ride was a little disappointing, but of course that was no fault of the tour operator. The stops along the way were all excellent and well managed. The lunch provided was in an interesting setting and quite nice. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. We had ample time at each stop to enjoy the sights and points of interest.
Overall, all four of us in our group rated the tour very high, and strongly recommend it.
I really loved this trip. Our guide from Key Tours Antoinette was amazing! Loved everything about this trip - chocolate factory visit, fondue lunch, visit in Gruyeres, Golden Panoramic Express Train, and farewell glass of wine in Lavaux. If I am ever back in the region with my children, I would take this trip again with them. Highly Recommend!
Antoinette was terrific. Everything was done right: the tour of the Caille chocolate factory, the lunch at the farm, with fondue we made at the table, the visit to the town of Gruyere, the panoramic train, and the final drink at the restaurant high overlooking Lake Geneva. I highly recommend it.
