We received a general idea about the city and the highlights. The time was well spent. I would recommend doing this tour on your first day so that you know where you would like to go back and visit.
A great way to see the city and the tour guide was very interesting.
Excellent. The meet-up location is central, very easy to find. The bus left on time. The bus is comfortable. The guide is very knowledgeable with a good command of English. This is a good intro to the city, a convenient way and no hassle.
The guide was provided a great play by play of each landmark in the city and insight on fun things to do that are off the beaten path. With her recommendation, I went to Carouge--loved the neighbourhood and got lucky that is was the outdoor market that weekend.
Our guide was very friendly and well informed and the your was well Bala ced send good value for money. We felt we knew Geneva much better at the end.
Tour guide was very knowledgable. It was very pleasant driving around such a beautiful city. We enjoyed our day.
This was an excellent tour. Our tour guide Kim was full of good information and did a wonderful job. Not only is she knowledgeable about the places on the tour, she was able to answer any other questions and was very helpful. Highly recommend!
The tour was great. Our guide was good. On time and organized.
Worth for first time visitor to the city as the tour takes you to all parts of the city. Maggie, the tour leader is very good in explaining each section of the tour especially the area where all the international bodies located. The tour bus is located about 3 blocks from Geneva train station toward the lake and it is to your right.
This was a fantastic tour! The guide was a young, knowledgeable woman with an amazing accent! You get to see all the fantastic sights of Geneva and the driver even attempts to stop out the front of the UN (which you also learn is only 1 of 3 entrances), my only recommendation is that the guides just speak a little slower, even myself as a native english speaker, I had a bit of trouble keeping up from time to time!
Our tour guide was very informative. Bus should have been smaller since we were not a large group.
This was a very pleasant trip through Geneva and its neighborhoods. The guide, Maggie, was very knowledgable and made everything exciting and enjoyable. We particularly liked the little train through the old town. The drive through the UN areas was interesting. We took a cruise after the trip since it was not available with this tour in April. Overall, a wonderful way to get to know Geneva.
This was an excellent introductory tour of Geneva. We had never been before and we appreciated the knowledgeable and experienced guide and driver. Definitely felt we received value for our money.
Driving and parking in downtown is a bit cumbersome so figure that piece out well in advance. Very central meeting location. Front of the bus was marked but you had to search a little as the bus station had several buses waiting. Very little walking so you'll have to do your own exploring to find food and shopping. A whirlwind education of all the international agencies. No time to take any real pictures. Beautiful views of the lake. The brief sightseeing tour serves as an excellent preview to come up with ideas as to where to go back to later. The train makes the hilly pedestrian areas easily accessible.
I booked the tour so my visiting parents could get a taste of Geneva. They really enjoyed it! They mostly enjoyed learned about and seeing the history of Geneva.
