We were in Savannah to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We were vacationing with friends also celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. None of us had visited Savannah before. By first viewing the city from the Savannah Hop-on Hop-off Trolley Tour, we were able to pick the places that appealed to us to explore further. Being able to stay at these stops as long as we wanted and then easily board another trolley to continue our tour was ideal for us. The stops for the trolley covered the whole city and we did not feel we missed any attraction we wanted to see. Our trolley guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. We would highly recommend this tour.
My girlfriends and I truly enjoyed ourselves. It was a plus to our girlfriends weekend. I would definitely recommend it to others.
On our second 'round trip' we were waiting to re-board after touring a historic house museum and it started to sprinkle rain. The driver of one of the Ghost Tour Old Town Trolley buses, invited us to come on board since it was starting to rain. Shortly thereafter, it poured down rain. We appreciated the invitation so very much. We were glad we were able to finish the tour out of the rain.

Unless you are sitting next to the window, one cannot see the high buildings and structures. Either the trolley roofs need to be higher or they should be transparent. Double Decker buses would satisfy those who want to see more that what's out the window. The Viator Hop-on Hop-off tour in Rome, Italy, was excellent because of this feature. Additionally, the acoustics could be better, personal headphones rather that general speakers. Engine noise gets in the way as well. The driver & guides were excellent.
