Germany's Romantic Road offers the most picturesque and magnificent scenery on Earth. Travel along this stretch of road and marvel at the delightful spots of the Bavarian region. Heidelberg Castle is one of the most impressive historic landmarks of Germany, and has been called the red walled castle. Now largely in ruins, it preserves numerous examples of baroque German, Renaissance and medieval architecture.
Visit the "Jewel of the Middle Ages" - Rothenburg Ob der Tauber (Rothenburg above the Tauber). A picturesque city, located 425 meters above sea level, on a plateau at the intersection of the Romantic and Castle Roads, this once free imperial city is one of Germany's most frequented towns. The Tauber River flows below the town in a valley 180 feet (55 meters) deep.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Munich - Hohenschwangau
Your coach departs Munich from Bahnhofsplatz opposite the Main Train Station in front of the department store KARSTADT (ex HERTIE) at 8:30am. Proceed to Linderhof Castle for a visit of approx. one hour (time does not allow to visit the moorish pavillon and grotto). Short shopping stop in Oberammergau before getting to Hohenschwangau. Your tour guide will provide you with the entrance tickets to the castles upon boarding the coach in Munich. Upon arrival, please check into your hotel first and then visit the Neuschwanstein Castle.
Overnight: Hotel Müller or similar.
Day 2: Hohenschwangau - Rothenburg
You will be escorted to the bus stop, where where at 8:20am. The coach departs along Romantic Road via Augsburg, Nördlingen and Dinkelsbühl to Rothenburg, train station. Upon arrival at 3:55pm a taxi will take you to your hotel. In the evening at 8.00pm, depart for the walking tour with the night watchman.

Day 3: Rothenburg - Frankfurt
You morning is spent at leisure in Rothenburg. Please check out of your room and lock luggage at hotel (at your own risk) before having time for own activities. Return to the hotel to meet a taxi that takes you to the bus stop at 3:30pm. The coach departs at 3:55pm and continues along the Romantic Road. Arrival time in Frankfurt approximately 7:15pm.
Day 4: Frankfurt - Heidelberg - Frankfurt
After breakfast start your tour with a half-day trip to Heidelberg, the old university town at the banks of Neckar-River, including a visit of the inner courtyard of Heidelberg Castle and a lunch box. Tour concludes at Frankfurt in the afternoon.
