Great tourguide, easy to hear and understand. Very nice and full of interesting information about the grounds.
My daughter and I had a wonderful tour. Our group guide was Antonio. He was very experienced and informative. Thanks Antonio!
This tour was amazing. Was very easy to schedule my hotel pick up and when we arrived at the Alhambra we were greeted by a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide. Visiting the Alhambra is a must if you are in Granada. The Alhambra trust who run the show only allow a certain amount of people per day so it's best to get your tickets ahead of time.
The booked tour to Alhambra Palace was very good value. The pick up time from the hotel was as arranged
and our guide Ima was excellent. Her knowledge of the history of Alhambra gave us a very thorough and interesting insight into this part of Spanish History. The tour was not rushed but requires a lot of walking over 3 - 4 hours. We were given the option of being dropped back at our hotel or of staying at Alhambra to revisit parts at our own leisure which I chose to do. If in Granada this is a must and a guided tour is necessary.
This tour was well worth taking. We were lucky enough to have Antonio for our guide, and his passion for the Alhambra was evident. He is a fabulous guide! It is hard to get tickets without a tour of some sort, so I would definitely recommend this tour.
Excellent tour guide spoke clear english and was very knowledgable. He spoke almost continuously the entire tour providing much information.
Great experience and the guide was not only very knowledgeable but humorous as well another one off my bucket list!
We totally enjoyed the tour and we so glad we had booked it, as it was impossible to get on a tour on the day. It is a long walk, and we were grateful that we were staying at the Parador, as we were so close to the end of the tour. Fernando was outstanding. He had just the right balance of knowledge, and humour. he moved us around the areas smartly, and the audio guide around our necks were excellent.
We had a great time on this tour. Thank GOD we decided to do a guided tour, because there is a LOT to get through and it was great to have a guide to give us all the backstory, and also keep us moving at a steady pace or we would be in there forever trying to get through it ourselves.
Alberto was our guide, and his English was wonderful, and was very knowledgable about every aspect of the palace. The 'side tales' and 'legends' were the best. Great tour--this ticket is a rock solid pick!
I think this was well worth the money. We were picked up by taxi from hotel and returned after the tour by minibus. The organisation at the Alhambra car park was hectic but we soon were in a small group of 15 with an excellent guide Enrique. His enthusiasm for the site and knowledge of his subject was first rate. He was considerate and provided loo and drinks breaks. He also suggested other sites in the city to visit and gave bus information for convenience. All in all an unforgettable morning.
Our guide was Alberto R and he was absolutely excellent. . I must say I was a bit concerned about the hotel pick-up because the Hesperia is on small street which is "no entry" both ways! However we were met in the lobby of the Hesperia hotel by a young lady who walked us around the corner the awaiting bus so that was easy. The entry to the palaces was at 1:30 pm ( a bit later than usual I think) but that worked out well for us because we were able to have a meal in the America(?) hotel which gave us a welcome chance to rest our feet. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone thinking of visiting the Alhambra.
