Leaving Las Vegas behind, hit the highway and head for your first stop of the day at Hoover Dam. Enjoy a 20 minute photostop at Arizona Lookout Point to admire the engineering feat before continuing on to the Grand Canyon West Rim.
Travel time from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon is around 3 hours and your driver/guide will offer expert narration along the way. The motor coach is climate controlled and equipped with restrooms, reclining seats, video monitors and over-sized windows for your comfort during the tour.
Traveling through the ancient Joshua Tree Forest en route to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon, the road gets a little bumpy! Once at the West Rim you are free to visit Hualapai Indian Country at your leisure. Visit Hualapai Ranch to see a Wild West Show complete with gunfights, and dine on a choice of either a Hualapai Buffet or Cowboy Cookout. For spectacular views over the Colorado River, head out to Guano point -- site of historical Guano Mine and Tram remnants.
Enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Grand Canyon from Eagle Point, where you can experience the brand new Grand Canyon Skywalk. Walk out over the edge of the canyon for an unbeatable 360 degree view from the second great engineering feat you will see today. See Hualapai Indians in tribal dress perform traditional dance at the adjacent Indian Village, where you can also learn more about the culture and customs of the native people.
You will spend around 3.5 hours of unguided time at the Grand Canyon so you are free to spend as little or as long at each of the included attractions and the complimentary Grand Canyon West Express shuttle bus provides easy transport throughout the area. Return to Las Vegas in time to catch a late show.
