So worth the day trip if you don't have a lot of time. The drive its self is worth it just to experience and observe the countryside, then arriving at Halong Bay is so beautiful. Excellent
Tour itself was great - great tour leader, safe driver, large sized boat to ourselves, beautiful tour of Halong bay. Had lunch on the boat while cruising past the islands which was amazing.
Just note that the drive to Halong Bay is long. Be prepared for a lot of sitting and waiting - bring a book, pillow, and snacks.
Marvellous day only wish I'd done the overnight trip.. The food was amazing the the boat was excellent my husband and I had the boat to ourselves.. Was just over to quickly..
This was great day long tour. You really see and learn a lot without having to spend days in Halong. I really enjoyed the boat ride and the seeing the cave.
My friends and I were the only ones on the trip and we had a good time with our guide San. The visibility was not the best but nonetheless Halong Bay still looks very beautiful.
What an amazing trip. It ending up being a private tour and it didn't rain. Everything was top notch and superb the boat ride, exploring the cave, food, and transportation from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay. The landscape is truly spectacular and stunning. This is a trip not to be missed. I think my guide was either Thanh or Hoang Le ... sorry. Either way, the guide on this trip was accommodating, knowledgeable, professional and super friendly. Had a wonderful time.
The tour was magnificent! If you want to see Halong Bay in one day, this is definitely the tour. Good food and knowledgeable tour guide.
My experience on this tour rates CLEAR AT THE TOP! Every detail was exceptionally dealt with in a professional and warm, friendly manner. Our guide spoke very acceptable English; the Vegetarian cusine was excellent - some of best vegetarian meals I have ever had abroad! I believe my carnivorous friends on board were jealous of my plate:-)) THANK YOU THANK YOU
Great tour, beautiful scenery, extremely relaxing. Tom was the best host/guide we could have asked for. The food was also delicious. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a day trip to the Ha Long Bay.
Pick up on time, long drive but guide was fab. The food was amazing and cruise and views fabulous. All in all a long day but some amazing views and experiences.
If you only have one day to do Halong then this is a great way to do it. Breathtaking scenery! Be prepared for the long 4 hour driving journey there and back.
Excellent - a long day trip but well worth it. I would recommend if you have time to stay over but if you only have one day this is the perfect one day trip to see Halong Bay. It was beautiful and stunning, really amazing.
This is an amazing tour. Stunning and beautiful sight seeing. The guide was very funny and nice. They are very accommodating if you are vegetarian or any type of food problem. They make sure you get something that is suitable for you.
our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. and we loved this tour I highly recommend it
The tour guide was fabulous - for a Vietnamese his English is incredibly fluent and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was also very patient with everyone - whenever we requested a photo he would happily take it for us and his photo-taking skill was great! We did many jumping shots at Halong Bay. I also like that the tour was small in number.
Although the weather was overcast the experience was amazing, the scenery unbelievable.. The seafood lunch was excellent. A fantastic value tour
Very enjoyable tour of this beautiful UNESCO World Heritage site. Knowledgeable and pleasant tour guide, and excellent food on board the boat.
This was a great trip. A long day (about 8 of the 12 hours spent traveling) but worth it if you don't want to stay overnight. Although the day was cloudy, the closer we got to the rocky formations, the clearer they were so I was able to get some good photos. Lunch was sufficient and the caves were worth seeing. It was a shame that the merchandise at the handicrafts centre was so expensive. A purse I bought around the corner of the hotel was 5 times more expensive at the centre. Our guide San was terrific and had excellent English.
