This was a perfect 1st day activity on the island. The hike was gorgeous - I recommend the early one at 6am as the temperatures go up fast. Our guide was great. He taught us a lot about the geological history of the islands. I would not suggest this activity for people who are out of shape. The stairs can be really tough.

Only my party of 4 on the trip would recommend sunrise tour as it will be too hot to climb later. Hard work but well worth the views are stunning.

This tour was wonderful. The hike is steep, but it is easy. It was definitely worth getting up for the 6:00 a.m. tour, as it was not too warm at that time. The later tour would have been too hot to really enjoy the experience. The guide knew a lot and gave great information.

My wife and I absolutely loved the tour. Our guide was extremely smart and well versed in Hawaiian history. He gave us a deeper appreciation of the area's culture and ecology. The hike was somewhat hard but well worth it. Thanks to the tour operator for a job well done!

Excellent tour. Our guide was terrific and we learned a lot about Hawaii. The climb is great and the final view at top is wonderful. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

There are a lot of steps, but it is worth doing, especially at sunrise. The guide knows exactly where to stop and rest and where you will get the best views and photos. If you're going to climb Diamond Head - do it early before it gets too hot.

Early start was well worth it. Our guide was great, really knowledgeable. Tough walk for those not fit but give it a go the view is worth it.

Our tour guide was great. The railing on the way up is covered in rust, so I would highly recommend taking a pair of gloves. We did the early morning pickup, and the views were awesome.
