Had an awesome time! the Tour guide was well informed and shared knowledge of the local area as well as the Diamond Head Crater. They were prompt to pick up. We would definitely recommend the 6am start as it gets really sunny around 9am and the climb will be more difficult. Plus, the views of the sunrise are simply amazing!

It was worth getting up early for this fantastic view and experience! I would recommend anyone going to Oahu should make sure they book this tour! One note, the website we linked said fitness level easy, it was not! I would say at least moderate to strenuous, still worth every minute!

We feel blessed to have had such a great guide. He was a wealth of information and so much fun. We also found a bakery he told us about. It was fabulous! Mahalo for making this adventure so much fun and not making us feel like the old ladies that we are.

We booked the 6:00 AM tour as it can get hot later, and the early start was worth it. Our tour guide was excellent and passed on so much information. He was so interesting and made it enjoyable for us all. The hike is definitely worth doing. Wear your joggers, though, as we saw a few wearing heels. It took us 40 minutes to get to the top, but that included quite a few rest stops to take in the scenery. Take water with you. The tour does include a bottle, though, and they also provide you with binoculars. There were a few people going up at this time of the morning, but I think later it could get really busy. Thanks to our guide; I hope you enjoyed our Aussie humour. Thanks Viator!

Tour guide was quite friendly and had lots of great information to share. Allowed plenty of time for photos and was happy to take everyone's pic if asked. Provided a backpack, which made the hike easier. Would definitely use this company again on my next visit to Oahu.

This is a fantastic hike! I highly recommend the 6am early trip. It's less crowded, cooler on warmer days and returns you in time to have a nice big breakfast -- plus you have the whole day to enjoy the beach or Waikiki. Be sure to bring your camera and sunglasses, everything else is provided.

I've wanted to do this for years, and I'm so glad that I finally did! The view was spectacular and our guide was very personable and knowledgeable. The hike was not at all strenuous or scary, just fun and breathtaking when you get to the top.

It was the best...we took the early hike! Walked up under a full moon. Our guide was the sweetest guy. He takes the hike up again around 9, very in shape, very knowledgeable. Made sure everyone was ok ,as there were difference paces for our group. A definite must do. The guides to educate and enjoy the island and history with.

This was a perfect 1st day activity on the island. The hike was gorgeous - I recommend the early one at 6am as the temperatures go up fast. Our guide was great. He taught us a lot about the geological history of the islands. I would not suggest this activity for people who are out of shape. The stairs can be really tough.

Only my party of 4 on the trip would recommend sunrise tour as it will be too hot to climb later. Hard work but well worth the views are stunning.

This tour was wonderful. The hike is steep, but it is easy. It was definitely worth getting up for the 6:00 a.m. tour, as it was not too warm at that time. The later tour would have been too hot to really enjoy the experience. The guide knew a lot and gave great information.

My wife and I absolutely loved the tour. Our guide was extremely smart and well versed in Hawaiian history. He gave us a deeper appreciation of the area's culture and ecology. The hike was somewhat hard but well worth it. Thanks to the tour operator for a job well done!
