We had an excellent guide - his English skills were very good and he was very caring and pleasant. We had an interesting small group on the tour. An eye-opening coverage of the guerilla tactics used during the American War.

Huong I think her name was, was an amazing tour guide. The experience is one I will never forget. We were able to choose how far along the tunnel we went as well as shoot some guns. It was an amazing trip, and very insightful. I will never forget it.
We booked in for this trip the night before and were picked up from our hotel in an airconditioned bus (big tick) and were welcomed aboard by our Tour Guide, the lively and hilarious Sunny. A couple of hours out to the site went quickly with lots of information being passed on and places of interest pointed out. The tunnels themselves were amazing - the resiliance, determination and creativity of the Vietnamese people was a real eye opener. Loved the Vietnamese Nike trick, that really got us talking, absolute brilliance! Well worth your time, we accidently dropped in on a wedding ceremony on the way there (they had set up the wedding reception on the road). The locals were so excited to share a beer with us, it was a fantastic half day of past and present Vietnam.

Very interesting excellent tour great guide
This half-day tour is definitely worth doing. The tunnels were amazing and the tour guide did a great job in providing us with an insight to the Vietnam War.
Our guide Thanh was excellent! He was articulate and knowledgeable and you can sense that he truly enjoys his job from his demeanor. He was also patient and sensible in knowing when to keep quiet and allow us to enjoy the scenery. We travelled with our 72-yr old mom and he was always following up on us, checking up on us and never rushed us at any moment. Bravo Thanh!!! Best wishes, D. Wong
