We really enjoyed our trip to Bonorong Wildlife Park. It was an awesome day with the Cadbury chocolate factory and cruise being the highlight.
A great day out with such variety. The Cadbury representative delivering the presentation was very informative and interesting to listen to. Bonorong Wildlife Park was excellent - the people working there all very helpful and friendly
the tour was well organised and worth doing will recomend to other people to put on the list of things to do
Did not go to the Wildlife Park as the Boat proprietors had changed their schedule and it could not be fitted in. Still enjoyed the experience enormously.
Bonorong staff were knowledgeable and respected the animals. The animals were beautiful and great to see. The Cadbury factory was an interesting tour, as well as yummy!
It's definitely a full day, but I enjoyed each aspect of it. Even though it was August and the cruise wasn't running, the lunch provided was very nice.
From the moment I was picked up at the hostel til the drop off point it was a great experience
The bus driver was great and explained things as we went along
Of course the chocolate factory was the highlight with all the chocolates. It would of been nice to go inside and see where things are made though.
The main highlight though was the Tassie park - I got to see the world famous Tassie Devils and got great photos to share
I would recommend this tour for all age levels
More time needed in Wildlife Park. Perhaps break over lunch could be reduced/incorporated into tour. All three activities workth doing.
great tour for its price, our tour also covered Richmond which was not part of the itinerary, good tour for kids 8-14
I loved the wildlife park for its wonderful educational value and interest. Despite its small size and lack of time available, the staff made the experience fascinating. As always, the Chocolate factory was fun and interesting. It would be good to provide more "safety attire information" on the website.
All aspects of this Tour were greatly enjoyed, especially the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary.
A couple of suggestions however:
1. We are amazed that a Company the size of Cadbury cannot provide an Auditorium in their Visitor centre with more seats for the presentation of the Factory Processes. Ours was what must be a relatively small Tour Group (about 40) yet there were only twelve (12) seats provided for the group, which comprised quite a few elderly attendees and a few mothers nursing children. Come on Cadbury! Surely you can be more professional and provide an auditorium with seating for say, about 100 or more, especially when a lot of your Visitors are probably coming from overseas. It certainly doesn't create a very good impression.
2. The Guided Tour at Bonorong was excellent, with very informative and useful information being provided by the Guide. However, it was a very windy day when we toured, and a lot of the Guide's words were lost on the wind. A microphone and a small PA system would be a very worthwhile addition. [NOTE: We understand that Bonorong has this matter 'in hand', so this comment is just to remind them how important it is.

Great activities. The only negative was, that because the tour is basically two tours stuck together we had some extra time to spend in between the morning and afternoon sessions.
Cadbury stop a little dissapointing. Not much to see. Cruise was nice. Maybe a little rushed. Did not get to spend enough time at the wildlife park. it was cut short by the bus driver. I think maybe too much is squeezed in to one day, or too much time spent at Cadburys. Stop at Richmond was nice.
The driver was friendly, and the old town was nice. The only bad thing was we couldn't go "in" the factory though when I booked the tour the description sounded like we could go inside the factory and take a look. Another thing I would recommend is the arrangement of the tour. If possible, chocolate factory would be better last as most people would buy chocolate heavy and during summer chocolate melts easily.
This was easily the WORST tour of our vacation
1--Cadbury was NOT a factory tour. We were basically driven to an outlet store. We didnt get a tour of any type, much less a factory tour. Showing one video is not a tour.
2--the river cruise was NOT a cruise....it was just a ferry ride for about 10 minutes and
3--it took us all the way back into town to eat lunch and then we had to meet the bus again.....and drive right back to the same area. We should have been left at the museum [a place we ran out of time to see]
4--the wildlife park was good until we went to the zoo in Sydney and saw animals that had shade and they seemed more energetic.
The bus driver was personable enough, but that's the only semblance of any tour that we received. This was terribly planned and cheated us out of our short time in town
