The driver guide was an expert in historical aspect of the places we passed by. At stopover places he gave enough time and space for us to wander around. Half-day is not enough but sufficient to whet our appetite to venture on our own later.

This is best way to see any new city. Hobart is so full of history and this helped us see what the locals are most proud of. You can benefit from some 'word of mouth' tips from other travellers - we got the tip for the best fish and chips in town - we were not disappointed.

The weather was not the best. However it was great to be driven around and shown the sights in Hobart.

The driver drove past a lot of interesting sites without mentioning them. We also had quite a lot of stops which I didn't think we needed. Tour is worthwhile, but could be improved.
