It was such a nice tour with two awesome guys (the driver and the leader). Bikes were good too! Good thing to do when in Hobart!
Maybe more explaning of the road rules to the older people as some of the older ones had no idea. But it was very enjoyable. thank you!
Loved it!! Very friendly guides and you don't need to be very fit to do it.
Great crew and group! Off road bit was the best (if only there was a way to do a lot of that).
It finishes quickly and it's not strenuous at all. Would be great with they had a "tougher" alternative.
Thanks for a great day!
very good, but weather was bad. A "get-out" clause in case of inclement weather would be helpful. A thrilling, exhilerating experience, and worth the inconvenience of the weather.
Very good though not really for inexperienced riders ! The 2 guides were competent and thoughtful.
This was lot of fun. Magnificent views over Hobart from the top of Mt Wellington and an exhilarating ride all the way down. Our guide enabled us to go as fast or slow as we wanted and I would highly recommend this experience
the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a pity that we couldn't see Hobart from the top due to the cloud cover. Would do it again.
Excellent views over Hobart. Quite a thrilling ride down the mountain once I got used to the braking. Much easier than I thought. Wish I'd done the off road part.
Great ride especially the off road trail, excellent views
Not enough off road trails. Definitely a beginner type tour. We got lucky with the weather and it was beautiful. The tour guide was and van driver were really cool and a pleasure to ride with
This is worth doing, but you need to be really careful. I was in the back and going pretty slow, but the tour guide was going all out. My friend took a pretty bad fall trying to keep up with him. I think the tours guides should set a fun, fast pace to make sure everyone has a fun and SAFE trip down. I know people ride a different speeds, but several people commented on our trip that the guide should have not just gone all out for his pleasure, but kept pace for those he was guiding.
A little dangerous
Gide did not stay close particularly when biking through traffic and bikes were not maintained .
But the scenery was nice
We were on the tour where the young asian man fell off the bike and injured himself. While certainly your staff were full of care and concern it probably highlighted some safety difficiencies you may have. In particular communication with guests and between cycle leader and your support vehicle. Otherwise we really enjoyed the experience.
The tour left 30 minutes late because they were missing an instructor. They said you could go as slow as you wanted to feel comfortable, but then they tried to suggest I should go in the van and made me feel uncomfortable. You need to have your hands on the breaks the whole time at the top of the mountain where it is most steep. This caused a fair bit of pain in both my hands. The bottom part of the ride was really good.
