Departing from Kings Pier Marina on Hobart’s lovely waterfront, your seaplane will taxi from the docks into the River Derwent before taking off into the air. With headphones provided, listen to commentary from your experienced and knowledgeable captain as he points out Hobart’s many historic attractions.
After take-off, circle over Hobart and trace the city’s landmarks below, from Salamanca Place to the lofty backdrop of Mount Wellington. You’ll see the Tasman Bridge, Government House, the Botanical Gardens and the cutting-edge architecture of MONA – the Museum of Old and New Art.
