This was a unique experience for us flying over Hobart's beautiful waters. The flight was a 70th birthday present. Mel thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and we would happily recommend it to anyone. A camera is a must to capture the superb scenery below.
Amazing - A true adventure. Spectacular sights with informed commentary from the Pilot. . Excitement for me as I was Co-Pilot. . Spectacular scenery that you just can't experience from other than the sky.
This is a must do when visiting Hobart. It was great to see the Derwent River and surrounds from the air. It was thorougly enjoyable and we will definitely do it again. The pilot and crew were very friendly and welcoming.
Our seaplane tour was fantastic. The scenery over Hobart and the Derwent was beautiful. The flight was smooth and the pilot informative and engaging. We enjoyed it as much as our helicopter flight over the grand canyon. Definitely worth doing when in Hobart.
Booked myself and my husband on a half hour trip as a treat, having never been on a sea plane, my Husband loves planes but not keen on flying! A contradictory I no! The pilot was Great very informative, we had good weather, some fabulous views of Hobart and surrounding area. An excellent experience well worth the money, thanks again.
In my husband' words top banana!
Very challenging winds made it quite bumpy as the plane climbed to maximum height. A spectacular view and always in good hands!
Beautiful visability, after large falls of snow on top of Mt Wellington. I never felt us take off or land: had to see the sea to know. Was just enraptured with the view of my home town, showing my boyfriend from Wollongong where we live now. We went so close to things we love, MONA where we stopped, my parents and friends houses, the beach I swam, the Ironpot lighthouse, the Derwent we sailed and where I learnt to ski, behind Mt Wellington.
Starting with making a booking for the seaplane tour, everything went very smoothly. I had a call from the tour operators within minutes of the booking, and we had nothing but extra friendly service from all the team. The office staff made us welcome, and Jethro was a great pilot and tour guide.
Nice tour and interesting experience for those who love flying. The only disappointment is that the flight itself is no more than 20 minutes, not half an hour as its advertised. The remaining time is taxiing on the water looking for a smooth place for takeoff, and after landing (watering?) back to jettty. Still quite interesting though) The pilot was very nice and friendly and the views are absolutely breathtaking.
We very cramped in the plane, we felt 5 peoples is ample. the person sitting in the middle had no veiw
