One of the many narrow streets
August 2009

Australia
As there are (basically) no cars or normal motor vehicles on the island, all streets are narrow as they only need to cater for bicycles and some special small vehicles.
Another narrow shopping street
August 2009

Australia
Another typical street view where a number of shops catering to locals needs exist.
A typical fruit and vegetable stall
August 2009

Australia
A number of such shops exist, and this seemed to be typical of most. Generally small, and with a variety of local fruits and vegetables.
Cheung Chau harbour
August 2009
Allan S
Australia
Cheung Chau Harbour seemed to be always full of small ships and other sea craft, as well as the regular air-conditioned ferries that ply between Cheung Chau and Hong Kong Central.
View from near the so-called pirates cave
August 2009
Allan S
Australia
Part of the tour involves a short "Chinese junk" trip across the typhoon shelter to an island outcrop where the pirates cave is located. Once off the junk, there is a 5-10 minute walk up over a hill to the pirates cave. This is a view from the high-point of that walk.

Also near to the pirates cave, taken from the walking track which takes visitors from the jetty to the location of the claimed (but rather tiny) pirates cave.
