Very good experience. We would have liked to have purchased things in China, but they didn't accept outside currencies.

I was very wary about going on this trip after reading some of the reviews. I can only say to those people, what is wrong with you? The trip was fantastic. The panda is an old bear, but she is being well looked after in her old age. She could hardly move around much. The trip to the kindergarten was magical. The children were beautiful and sang us a beautiful song. The Terra-cotta Warriors - there were only three and a horse - but they were magnificent and well worth the visit, the whole museum is lovely and full of beautiful relics. The bus trip was relaxing and the guide very informative. The lunch was lovely and then the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees was beautiful. Everything was wonderful, followed by the train trip home. You can get hot food and drinks on the train. I had lovely beef noodles. Thank you for an amazing experience for my 60th.

This was a wonderful tour with very knowledgeable and helpful guides. You learn much about the history and general interest about the area, and the guides answer all questions very well. The meal was excellent, but it's a very long trip, so I would bring along a snack.

A wonderful day. A very long day, but still wonderful. They do their best to get in as much as possible. The only negative was the panda was a bit disappointing, but it didn't take away from the tour.

This was an excellent experience with not only an extremely knowledgeable guide, but other local guides as well. I would highly recommend it, except take off the zoo stop. There was just one elderly panda. I did not like the bear that was posed for a photo with any tourist, as the bear was attached with a mouth ring. My family felt sorry for the creatures here. However we felt privileged to see the Terra Cotta warriors, to see the old and the new buildings, to learn about China and its customs, to walk an open market. It was a memory beyond words.

One of the most interesting tours we have taken. We had excellent tour guides in both Hong Kong and China. If you can only do one tour to China from Hong Kong, this is it.

Interesting trip, but the panda side was zero worth. A zoo was not what we were led to believe we would see. There are better pandas at Hong Kong Island. Gave us an insight into another part of China. Guides informed on the facts and figures of what goes in and out of China. Not enough of the local area information given as we traveled through. Jade place well worth a visit.

Tour guide all one would hope for - fun & helpful. Tour very informative & enjoyable. Lunch was OK. Panda available for photos. "Museum" for clay soldiers was really only a buying exercise.

This tour is a fantastic experience, but is somewhat let down by several weak points alluded to by other reviewers. The transportation to and from China are fantastic, and the guides are superb and make the whole experience very stress free, especially getting through immigration. The visit to the kindergarten might be a little troubling for some people. The trip to the museum is, as mentioned by one reviewer, just the group being effectively placed in the locked room until an individual or 2 made some purchases, although the items are of high quality. The panda is a little ill looking and nothing compared to the lovely ones at Ocean Park. However, lunch is delicious, the walk through the market is great, as are the sightseeing stops. There is a sneaky effort to make you spend extra money by trying to sell a map, and also photos which have been taken off you during the trip, which are not cheap.

Was a great day to see and learn about China. Tour guides were very knowledgeable. Definitely inspires me to come back to Asia and see more of China.

The trip went very smoothly with all the ferries, buses, immigration ports and everything else. The guides were very knowledgeable and easy to understand. The lunch was very good, although way too late in the afternoon considering our start time that morning. I have three complaints. First, no pictures allowed of the terra-cotta warriors. That was one of the main deciding factors on taking this trip, so I was very disappointed at how little we got to see of them. Second, the stop at the museum with the warriors was really just a big shopping excursion. The museum jewelry shop had nice merchandise--that wasn't the problem. But too much time was spent there. Third, the walk through the local market in Canton was too rushed. Maybe because we spent too long at the museum shop. It would have been a lot more interesting to be able to actually stop at some of the stalls instead of just racing past like dumb tourists in a pack.
