Noon Day Gun Tradition
This day time cruise will take you as far as Shau Kei Wan Typhoon Shelter, home of local villagers, before returning to see the firing of the legendary Jardine Noon day Gun, a tradition dating back to the early days of Hong Kong.
Majestic skylines, bustling harbor traffic and eye-catching waterfront attractions all feature on the ever changing Hong Kong waterfront scenery. Your day time cruise on Hong Kong harbour sails out to the Eastern harbor area of Hong Kong, along the waterfront of Central, Wanchai, Causeway Bay and North Point before viewing the Shau Kei Wan Typhoon Shelter - home of local fishing families and their trusty deep sea fishing junks.
The excitement of the views are matched by the refreshments which are served to help brighten up your day.
On Route, you will be introduced to a series of stunning skylines, harbour traffic and eye-catching waterfront attractions. Further sailing takes you to the North - Eastern Kowloon side where you will see more scenic contrasts including Lei Yue Mun Village waterfront. This is a very good trip, interesting and a great opportunity to get some great photos. Just a shame that were so much land has been reclaimed that you are no were near the midday cannon.
