The trains in Hong Kong were super easy and the MTR pass made them even easier! No need to buy tickets, just swipe and go. It was worth every penny!
Once the people @ the desk figured out which package I bought it was great and worked perfectly. Express airport train is awesome and 3 days of metro was exactly what I needed. Went up the gondola my last day. For the 3.5 days I had in Hong Kong this was perfect. Highly recommend this package.
Great! Easy to find pickup station at Airport and travelling by Airport Express is quick and easy :)
I bought the 3 days MTR-AE-NgongPing tickets for a 4 days short trip to HK with my brother. The place to redeem my paper voucher was very easy to find on Arrival Hall A, however we got to go to another place in that airport to get the tickets instead right away on that place (which I thought a bit waste of time, the lady was nice though). Airport Express tickets worked good and by the time we wanted to use the 3 days unlimited MTR, we couldn't pass through. After tried it several times, it appeared we need to activate the tickets first at the information center (which we didn't know). MTR tickets worked out good. The best part of this travel pass is Ngong Ping Cable Car roundtrip tickets! Why? We saved hours of queueing to get into the cable car by going through travel agent line instead of normal line! The line was crazy and even worse in the afternoon (we got there in the morning). We were so pleased! If only the information about MTR tickets was clear and voucher redeem place was the place to get the tickets, I would give this Travel Pass 5 stars!
The combo pass including the round-trip Airport Express ticket and a three-day MTR pass was very convenient. Also the optional ticket for the cable car was a plus. The only down point is that the office to redeem the pass was located into a sort of lounge, which was not easy to find.
