The day started with some confusion over collection from our hotel but this was quickly resolved. Ryan the tour guide was excellent and we really enjoyed the tour. The lunch which was included was great. If it is cold wrap up warm, I never knew Hong Kong could be so cold!
The tour and the tour guide were absolutely the best. Hong Kong is such a diverse place and it never ceased to surprise us during our week long stay there. Lantau Island trip guaranteed that the surprise grew even stronger.
First rate. Ben was an excellent and informative guide. A wonderful experience, which I would highly recommended. The vege meal was delicious. A stunning day trip well worth the money.
There were 5 of us on this tour and I would highly recommend it.
This was a wonderful experience. The Tour Guide was knowledgeable. The travelers were a small group of 16. Just right. Lunch was delicious. The Cable Car down the mountain was Awesome. Windy and Rainy. I felt safe. Thanks Julie M Hutchin
We have outstanding experience. Guide was very knowledgeable and very passion about the subject. I highly recommend this tour.
Best day trip ever on our trip - a fantastic guide, Ben, and an amazing lunch andf sights. Will be taking my sister here next year! Brilliant.
A visitor should take this tour to see how rural undeveloped Lantau Island exists next to the major city of Hong Kong. The visit to the fisherman's village is remarkable as is the stroll through the local fisherman's market. The Buddha is HUGE and the lunch at the monastery very nice (its a large operation with hundreds of people eating). The ride back on the cable car is awesome. It goes for miles with breathtaking views of the airport and Hong Kong along the way.
We had a great day on the tour to Lantau. Ben was a good guide. He provided lots of information and helped us enjoy the day. Tai-O fishing village was fascinating. The Big Buddha exceeded expectations and provided some great photo opportunities. The monastery was also very interesting and the vegetarian lunch included was surprisingly good. I'm not a vegetarian fan but I was surprised at the quality and variety provided. The cable car ride down provided some grat views.
Excellent tour - everything we expected and more. The vegetarian lunch at the Po Lin Monastery was delicious. We had just come off a Main Land China tour where we had a group of vegetarians with us and the food they were getting was pretty awful. The tour to the fishing village was very interesting as well. Highly recommended.
Excellent tour through Lantau Island that allows you to see how the locals lived many years ago. Lunch at the monestary was excellent
Really glad we took the tour, it takes away all stress and planning so we could sit back and relax. Wish I had more time to do more trips while we were there.
